I think I might finally be in ketosis! Day 4 today and I will be honest it has been a real struggle. Yesterday, I thought my wee head was going to explode (severe carb withdrawal I reckon) but today I feel almost human again and not quite so hungry!

I tip to those thinking of starting or waiting for packs to arrive.... Cut out the carbs in preparation! It would definitely had made my first few days easier if I had!!

Anyway, hope everyone is well and being GOOD!

ah good for you, always thought that day 3/4 was the hardest when doing CD so not looking forward to that when my stuff arrives! all good news from here on for you tho no more hunger pangs.. good luck when are you weighing in? x

Weighing in on Monday! Feeling all bloated today so was a wee bit tempted to pop on the scales this morning but if I hadn't list anything I would have eaten the fridge! :0) ( I meant lost). Did have a wee cheat of smoked sausage on day two, just a wee piece but still a chest non the less! Just have to keep reminding myself how difficult the past few days have been!

Well done for being in K. Hope I'll be in it on sat or sun! I am on my 2nd day and starviiiiing! Been drinking loads of water tough. But keeping my head up.. Good luck on your exante journey ! Laura x

Glad you've made it into ketosis. Hopefully it will feel a bit easier now as you get into the swing of things. (I keep the Mattesons smoked sausages in a fridge as an emergency standby low carb thing if I really need to eat something - better than jumping for hubby or daughter's biscuits, crisps or fruit).
Anyway, glad it's going well and fingers crossed for a great weigh in on Monday :D

good on you, getting into the K zone is half the battle. :) the cravings and 'need' to eat will lessen and you will feel great.

Well done for reaching the magical ketosis feeling, hopefully you'll be a lucky one and the hunger will vanish, and just think of the weight loss every week x

Day 4 for me and judging by my stinky breath and weird amount of energy I'm there too!! not hungry at all but my tummy is making some weird and wonderful noises still!! sooo embarrasing in work it sounds like a drain!

feeling the same!! sounds like we are in K, yey! though i am a bit hungry or it's just the thought of having my beloved nutella sandwhich haha :D

ha ha Claire I was reading your post while my tum was making marvelous noises ha ha, it's strange not feeling hungry, I still think, I'll just get something to eat which shows how truly greedy I had got and how I never actually thought, am I hungry x

I remember when on CD they said that if you feel hungry it might actually be that you need more fluid x

think that my water intake has really helped 'treated' myself to fizzy water which i enjoy and i've been sipping all day... only downside is how familiar the loo is becoming in work.. we're like old friends hahahahaha

I hate the trips to the toilet, i am a frequent user :eek: without drinking more then normal, trying to make by bladder stretch a bit by holding on longer then normal x
