Hi All,

Sorry for asking this early in the year lol but we've just got the menu for our work Christmas night out, I was wondering if someone could take a look at the menu and advise what would be the best choices to make.

Starters
Roast Tomato & Basil Soup
Pan-Fried Mushrooms, Garlic Cream Sauce
Baby Crepe Filled with Chicken & Mushroom
Spicy Meatballs in Tomato Basil Pesto
Prawns & Smoked Salmon Cocktail Marie Rose
Breaded Mushrooms & Mozzarella Garlic Dip
Salmon & Prawn Fishcakes, Lemon Tartar Sauce

Mains
All served with a selection of traditional vegetables & potatoes
Traditional Free-Range Turkey, wrapped Chipolata & Stuffing
Poached Salmon in a Creamy Tomato Sauce
Breast of Chicken with a Mushroom Cream Sauce
Spinach & Ricotta Tortellini, Creamy Basil Pesto
8oz Grilled Sirloin Steak (cooked to your liking)
Wood Stone Baked Pizza of Your Choice

Thanks in advance xx

Steak would be low without the fat, just add a few for the oil/butter I'm sure it's cooked in. Or the Salmon without the sauce (3 options with creamy sauce!)

For starters maybe the soup, or the prawn cocktail with the sauce on the side or scraped off?

thanks guys :) tbh catmonkey thats what I usually do but nothing really jumped out at me that I really fancied so thought I'd see what people thought would be the lower syn options and save syns for a few drinks :p

cheers sio I was thinking maybe the soup and I like steak now and then xx

I would agree with catmonkey!
However, if you are not fussed def go with the steak - although the goodness of that will depend upon what it is served with!
To be good I would also prob go with the prawn cocktail - and syn the marie rose!
