One last chance
I have finally started LL!

I am so excited!!!
Ok so here are a few detail about me, my name is Yasmine and I am a self confessed serial dieter and binge eater :rolleyes:.

I have been dieting since the age of 9, I have done all kinds of diets:

  • Cabbage soup
  • Apple vinegar
  • Starvation
  • Slimming world
  • Weight Watchers
  • Lipotrim
  • Kellogg's Special K Diet
  • Calorie Counting
I've done it all :p I am now giving lighterlife a chance because I am just about ready to give up. I am so tired of being on a diet, LL is my last chance.

I started my weight at 13st 10.5lbs, which I was most devistated with but I guess it's better than 15st 10lbs how I was before :)

I want to get to 10st and hopefully I will achieve this in 4 months time or less :D

Day 1:
Today was alright until it got around to 4pm, this was when the headaches kicked in :p and I feel absolutely drained and sleepy. Can't wait for ketosis to kick in so I can start excersising :p

I had a porridge for breakfast which was alright, not great but I can tolerate it :p. For lunch I had a toffee bar which was really nice and chewy, but it made me quite full which was really wierd for me :/ I made a healthy meal, which consisted of 154g of Cod and 70g of cabbage, all steamed. I think I ate less of what I should of though, so I'm kinda worried about that :confused:.
And as a late meal I had a chocolate shake made with 250ml S.S milk which was lovely! these food packs taste a lot better than what the Lipotrim have to offer :D

 
Best of luck on your journey Yasmine, it made me smile to look at your list of diets - I have tried so many of them too.. Have decided that this is it now for once and for all.

I'm doing Cambridge SS ( sole source), I have a choc mint shake for breakfast, a choc tetra for lunch and then either a veg or chick & mushroom soup in the evening. Just back 100% on plan this week after taking some time off at x-mas..

LL is the best weight loss program in the world! It simply works and with the right attitude and support it will be the last time you 'diet'

Welcome and good luck, i love your diet list, we have all been there and done that, and I can promise you that this diet actually works, all you have to do is follow it - simples :) I lost over 5 stone in 2009 and am still a size 8-10!! Slightly more 10 of late than 8 so am doing a quick few weeks on packs again to be a comfortable size 8!! This is such an incredible journey and I wish you luck and look forward to reading your posts

That is so reassuring! thanks a lot! I am so anxious to see what I lose this week, I usually weigh myself everyday :p and I'm am dieing to get on the scales abd see!
 
Day 1

Day 1 was tiring, headaches, drousy, and moody as hell. But good things come to those who wait right? :)

Breakfast:
LL Poridge

Lunch:
LL toffee bar

Dinner:
154g Cod - steamed
70g Cabbage - steamed

Late:
LL chocolate shake - mixed with 250ml semi skimmed milk
 
Day 2

Got over the first day was a little bit hard but not because of hunger, although I was thinking of all the things I should have eaten before starting LOL ah well nevermind. Although, it is hard to forget about my cravings when I can smell plain biscuits all the way at the other end of the room :eek: PLAIN?! LOL

Breakfast:
LL Crispy Cranberry & Raspberry Bar
250ml Semi skimmed milk

Lunch:
Lighterlife chilli con carne

Dinner:
200g cod - cooked in 2tsp olive oil
80g cherry tomatoes

Late:
LL thai chilli soup
 
Day 3 - A bit of a problem

Ok my bf has invited me to his cousins birthday and of course...food is around, but I plan to stay focused and take my stuff with me. Yes it's rude but I can't mess up now. I already told him that I will not be eating so he should (hopefully) tell his family on what I'm doing.

Breakfast:
LL porridge
140ml semi skimmed milk

Lunch:
I can of tuna in brine
80g cherry tomatoes

Dinner:
LL peanut bar

Late:
LL peanut bar
 
hi yaz..thats wierd..i saw you on youtube a couple of days ago saying dont do tfr and it makes you ill and now here you are about to embark on lighterlife?

other than a few pounds on at christmas, like everyone, mine seems to have stayed off. i think combining it with lots of exercise has helped me. i hope you find what you need to reach your goal this time and keep it off.

Yeah looking at it now I feel like quite the hypocrite.

Back then, the only VLCD I did was lipotrim, and I was extremely ill when i was on it. So I assumed that all VLCD's will do this.

The only thing that I love about VLCD's is the fast weight loss, I looked up LL and sw that the calories are much migher than that of lipotrim. So I wanted to give it a go.

I guess we'll see if LL affects me the same way :p

Congrats on keeping the weight off! :D
 
Day 4 - so far so good

Well, I don't know if I'm in ketosis but the headaches are gone :p

The party went alright exceot for my bf's family's concerns about me not eating or drinking. I felt so rude but thankfully they understood :eek:

I just don't want to repeat like I did when on a VLCD, I always stayed at home, never socialised with friends it was just aweful.

Breakfast:
LL lemon bar
250ml semi skimmed milk

Lunch:
LL thai chilli soup

Dinner:
200g Cod
100g lettuce
50g cherry tomatoes

Late:
LL chocolate shake
 
Don't worry about what others say. They're not you, it's your life and your decisions. I know that our loved ones make those comments because they're concerned about us but what I usually tend to do in those situations is just smile and carry on doing my thing...
 
Thanks hun it's just hard because I'm not used to pleasing myself, I want everyone else to be happy too *shrug* ah well, he's a start I guess :p
 
Well with time you will learn to put yourself first! That's why LL is so brilliant. It helps you deal with those issues. X
