Posted on main forum But think i will put it here so I can just check in and do what i do on a daily basis!!

Long time lurker first time poster!!
So here I am I have been reading about you all for the last week and decided to start posting and join in!
i started Slim Fast last sunday 28th April 2013 and my weigh in is on a Sunday. last Sunday 5th May 2013 i had lost 8lbs!!
I know its usual for bigger people to lose lots in their first week so I am not overly excited by it- Is that wrong??
My mum has stolen my scales so I cant weigh inmore often than every Sunday!! darn mother :( hee hee

So i am doing well- no cheats and even managed 2 meals out last week and calorie counted them!!

Walking the dog, playing netball and gym 5 days out of 7.

So looking for buddies and somewhere i can whinge, moan or just chat rubbish!!
 
MOAN alert!!! why do mates who know what youa re doing with losing weight always want to meet up for lunch or dinner!! keep suggesting a walk at th beach but they say its too cold!!

So today was day 11 and I have had a banana shake for brekkie, 1 small apple, chocolate shake for lumch with 2 rice crackers, 1 small apple and a kiwi for snacks this afternoona nd away to find somethign nice to go with my salad for tea before the gym again tonight! Good days sun is shining i am so not bloated and carrying less water around the middle than i was!

Gym done and home for a wee sit on the sofa!! Snacks jacks it is!!! Role on tomorrow x
 
Shake rattle and roll! Banana shake brekkie and choc shake for lunch apple mid morning and out for tea tonight but planned ahead and chosen caeser salad with dressing on side! Good girlie catch up with my chums so can't wait!!! X

What a lovely day! Went for my tea with buddies last night and has chicken caeser with the dressing in te side and drank water all night! Then today shopped in the morning and stocked up on sf from Superdrug. Then met another pal for lunch at wagamamas and had ramen at 600 cals and just had my shake. Got a couple of pieces if sushi for snack tonight! Walked the dog and played with my nephew this afternoon.
Hope you are all fine weigh in tomorrow argh hh!!
 
13.5lbs in two weeks!!!! Just goes to show that if you follow it religiously it works! Also how much over eating was I doing before hand! So happy !! X

Walked an hour with the dog in the sunshine! Had my shake for brekkie and for lunch and just had turkey breast with Cous Cous for tea! All yummy and happy with my weekend. Not happy it's Monday tomorrow :(
 
Excellent results so far, well done hun!
I've worked over the weekend so it makes no difference to me that it's Monday to me tomorrow, still another day at work lol x
 
Monday was fine and dandy! Nothing for me to be in a grump for! Had the other turkey breast with asparagus and a runny poached egg! Last light for tea and it was yum!
Today shake for breakfast had an apple at snack time and away to have choc shake for lunch with half a can small tuna and 2 rice cakes!

Tea tonight is fish and away to the gym tonight as well

Oh just got an invite to go to my sis in laws for tea- She is very good calorie wise and knows i can only eat 600 so not too bothered! Gym might have to wait htough :(
Also very light headed today at work Dont drink tea but had to have a cup today with a sugar in it to get my head to stop spinning Not happy

Salmon, stuffed mishrooms and asparagus dinner last night YUM!! always tastes better when someone else cooks it as well :)
Had lots of playing with my nephew last night as well so was super happy.
Today i have been feeling loads better. Had shake for brekkie, apple and banana mid morning, shake for lunch, 2 rice crackers with cherry toms and an extra light laughing cow cheese triangle.
Got Sushi for tea as am out at a meeeting so 200 cals of that and then 200 cals salad when i get home.
In a hyper mood today really looking forward to being able to look and feel great :)

had a good day yesteray with meetings etc and then my sushi and salad.
out tonight for the first time on the booze with work so ok for tea as going for sushi and then out on the piddle so shall stick to vodka and DC and TRY and alternate with water but will have to see how it goes- GYM on Saturday to work it all off and defo stay away from the KEBABS!!!!!!
 
Hi there, I've just joined and read some of your posts and found you here :) I started slimfast yesterday at 19st 2lbs :( your posts are so inspirational and can see me sticking to them like a limpet for encouragement :) it's only my second day today and I have a banging headache which I'm trying to wash away! Good luck for tonight!

Welcome and glad I can be of assistance and we started at roughly the same point!
I felt rubbish with a head ache for the first few days.
I have learnt to increase the frequency i eat at and have liower cal snacks so instead of having all 4 rice cakes at once have 2 then another 2 an hour later and i really found this helped.
I wish you all the best in your weight loss and lets look forwar dto Xmas time when we can be slim minimes!!

Mind me asking what size clothes are you?

Ooh thank you, I'll try eating more frequently to see if it helps. So far today I've just had my breakfast shake and meal bar for lunch and plenty of water! I so want to be successful with this after feeling a bit of a failure, so fingers crossed we can guide each other through :) you're doing brilliantly though. Are you doing anything else other than sticking to the plan? I've downloaded my fitness pal to help keep track of my calories and exercise and hope that helps keep me on track :) I'm a size 22 bottom and 20 top at the moment :( I can't wait to get into size 18s and feel like I can shop in normal clothes shops rather than the 'fat' section. I'd love to go out over Christmas all dolled up! I,ve stayed home for the past few years because I can never find anything nice to wear! X
 
OMG Alcohol is lethal!!!
I was still drunk this morning after my works night out!
I went for an all you can eat buffett and stuck to around 700 calories, had salad and sushi and a wee bit of steak.
However I then drank considerably more than i should have!!!! And with not eating lots my goodness it makes me drunk quickly!
So today I have succumbed and had a bacon roll and some toast for brekkie- I needed it !
So its quite a workout needed tomorrow at the gym on Saturday and lots of dog walking to get back on track!
Sure it wont be too bad and at least I feel like i can go straight back on to SF rather than totally going off on an eating binge!

We all have nights like this and it's no fun going out with friends etc.. and not enjoying what's on offer. That's why I like having the shakes as you can't over indulge on them. They are what they are but I bet that bacon roll tasted like heaven! lol Making me fancy bacon now! We need bacon flavoured shakes! lol
