No motivation :(

Hi everyone,

So I lost 4 pounds this week, which is ok to start with!
I just have no motivation to do anything at the moment. I haven't done any exercise, hardly walked anywhere and my motivation for work is 0.
Any help to get my motivation up would be great!

Don't despair M... you've done very well for starters.. actually you've done excellent for starters!
What is it that you are eating and drinking? That will have such a bearing on how much weight you loose and whether it will continue the same... but more importantly it will have a great bearing on how you FEEL.
If you are just cutting out or cutting down drastically on your food intake without eating plenty of protein you will find your energy levels will be affected and make you very listless.

I'm mainly eating fruit/fruit smoothies for breakfast, a low calorie shake for lunch and a hot meal containing chicken, veg, beans & pulses for dinner.

I'm using My Fitness Pal app, and it looks like I'm eating between 700- 1800 calories daily. The last two days I've been soooo hungry and just resulted to eating pasta which I've tried to cut out. As well as this I'm not eating anything dairy or bread.
I don't know if I should be eating more?
 
700 is far too low especially as you have a fair bit to lose M.. It's very different for men and women when it comes to the daily calorie intake and I have scanned your posts but can't tell which one you are (?)
When starting at a quite obese point it is better to have a calorie rating that will enable you to lower it somewhat if you reach a plateau which is often what happens.
