ProPoints "The Bell is a Signal for Me...": Diary of a trainee teacher

bugsbunny2000

Proud to be a LOSER :)
Hello there!

Welcome to my weight loss diary. I am an ex-slimming worlder and new to WW. But am so excited for this journey and am glad to share it with likeminded people! I began WW on Monday 16th January 2012, and am following the pro point plan (26pp a day).

So, here's a little about me:

Age: 22
Occupation: Trainee Primary Teacher (PGCE)
Height: 5'3
Starting Weight: 11st 4lbs
Activity: Gym & classes such as body pump, body combat and body jam. Have yet to try spin class.

As you can see from my signature, I have a number of mini goal; get under 11st, reach my 5% and 10% and eventually get down to 10stone. I would like to think that at a steady rate of 2lb per week I could accomplish a weight loss of a stone in 8 weeks... just before my 1 year anniversary and partner's birthday and before I begin my school placement B (which will be SUPER intense!). Although, any weight LOSS is a step in the right direction. You cannot rush perfection (lol).

I am going to post my before pictures too (don't be too horrified!) which I took the other week prior to the gym and dieting again. Will try and update periodically.
Oh and the title of my food diary comes from the teacher cliche ''the bell is a signal for me, not for you" and also at my WW group (this is prob the same for all lol i have no idea) but when you have lost weight they ring a bell :)

So... enough about me! I will post my daily food diaries shortly.

Thanks for reading :)

Hey!

hi hun, here to follow your diary. :D

Hi Kimbo! Welcome!! Have you been on WW long? How have you been finding it? (sorry for 101 questions lol!) xx

I've only been doing it a couple of weeks, not finding it too difficult, some days are easier than others. And I've recently found out that I should be on 26 pp a day not 29! So I'll b gradually goin down over a couple of weeks. How are u finding it? Xx

It feels like the perfect diet so far :) really enjoying it! Much more than SW!! And thankfully ASDA are doing some good deals on WW products and even my local Poundland have LOTS of WWs stuff :)

I don't feel deprived on the 26 a day, but I'm not too sure about breaking into the 49 weekly points. Want to keep a good weight loss up.

Weighed myself earlier (tried to resist but just wanted to know!!) and it was 11st 1.5 so thats a 2.5lb loss so far - though I know that its a different time of day and is subject to change within the week. Better still though its my TOTM which I thought would hinder my weightloss greatly! xx

Aww thank you starkissed :) must say your current weight loss is definitely an encouragement! xx

Had a sneaky peak on the scales this morning - 11st 0.5lbs! Wow! Even if its not that by Monday, then still WOW lol!
Gonna have a look through the forums anyway, but is it cheaper to buy WW products during meetings? I want to get the calculator, is that £10.95 at meetings like on the WW website? I have been lookin at ebay but tbh they're not going for much cheaper (ending soonest) xx

My OH came back today after a 4 day trip to Jamaica (he's cabin crew) and he said he could tell I had lost weight! Such a charmer! Lets hope the scales are on my side tomorrow night.
Also going to take my sister to WW with me tomorrow night - she is also a serial-dieter, sick of SW, and is so shocked with my losses and the amount of food i can eat that she wants to jump aboard to WW-train :) choo choo!

Got a looong day at Uni tomorrow and Tuesday, so going to have fun deciding which yummy lunches to take with me! And am excited to put some stickers on my new Reward Chart tomorrow night!

xx

Just jumped on the scales before breakfast *slaps hand* I know, naughty! I think I will hide them next week or try having a little willpower!

But just had to share the result - wish I had taken a picture really - 10st 12.75lbs! I have not been 10st in many many moons, well not since I did SW properly back in May/June!

Now I know the scales tonight will be very different as I'd have eaten throughout the day at uni... but at least I know it's in reach! I will be getting my first silver seven in NO TIME :) xx
