Well ... I was here early on last year and doing really well losing the weight and feeling great!...then something terrible happened...my father died and food began to fill the gap....and slowly I have put on all the weight and more and i now weigh more than I ever have before....its worrying me,,, i feel heavy ..on my scales I am 19stone 6.... I need to do something.... I want to do it for my Dad....and me of course but I know he always wanted me to lose weight.... the journey begins!....Tues morn I am joining the local ww....and I will do my best...my sister is also coming ...so I have support.... I shall post my diary on here daily .....please follow my journey...im looking forward to the results! :):):):):):):)

My name is Rosie and I am in my 4rth week on ww I get weighed on a wed hopefully will get my 1st half stone this week .
So sorry for your loss but as you say your dad would not have wanted you to be unhappy in yourself .. Well done in having the motivation to go back and rejoin ww, tomorrow is the start of great things to come I bet ... Keep us posted on how you get on xx
 
Hello, I'm sorry to hear about the rough time you've had recently :( But well done for getting in the right head space to lose weight, I think that's the hardest part! Good luck and I look forward to reading your diary. x
 
how lovli your comments..... first weigh in today ....19stone 4lb.....OMG...I have NEVER weighed this much....excited to lose this weight now! ...I have 40 pp to fill!!!....today i struggled a little ...did 31...but will post diary as from tomo as I feel i will begin properly tomo....... I am out for a meal but will count it all! night night fellow losers! LOL x x x (in a nice way)

Here to subscribe, well done on going anyway and making a start, dont stress that much on the number you are as that will be the heavest you are ever going to be onwards and downwards from now on :)
 
That's great you have joined and you seem so positive about your weight loss ... Well I got weighed today .. Stayed the same but have lost 12 inch all together in my measurements in 4 weeks that's upper arm, bust, waist, hips and thigh .. Bit gutted still only 6.5lb loss but at least some numbers going down :) ... Good luck on your 1st week looking forward to reading your diary xx

You are doing really well ... That's what I do for a huge low pp desert .. I have 1 meringue nest crumbled 1pp 1 ww yoghurt 1pp sugar free jelly 0pp and lots of chopped fresh fruit .. It's loads in the bowl and only 2pp xx
 
Ah Hun sorry to hear how tough it has been x so impressed you have taken the bull by the horns x I started off with lots to lose and it can feel daunting at the start, but slowly those scales start going down. And your confidence starts creeping up x good luck with your journey. X
 
thanks for the motivation ! ..... ur all great on ere..... i can do it ...done it before.... put it this way if i dont im gunna be very ill in the nr future.....as a body cant continue to carry 19 stone with out complications! ......so no more of it ! LOL

This site is so great for support, there is always someone to pick you back up when your having a down day or feel like giving up! And you're right, you can do it :)
 
Everything is looking good so far! But just to make you aware, some of the time when you have multiples of the same thing the PP jumps up. For example 2 slices of WW bread is actually 3pp (not 2) and I think 3 slices is 5pp. Its horrible when that happens, and you only really know about it if you use the WW app or a WW calculator.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad ((hugs))

We started off at a similar weight. I was 19 stone 0.5 at my first weigh in. I remember feeling disgusted and humiliated :/
Since then I've lost 59lbs. I've had a bit of time out since my wedding in July (gained back 11lbs) but started back at WW and had my first weigh in last Thursday and lost 4lbs in my first week back yaay!!

What day do you weigh in?
