Hi everyone - just wanted to say hello! Am in the middle of my first week doing WW, feeling good so far!

Have a lot to lose, but also looking at it as a life change - ie eat better, move more, and make those 2 things a habit/daily life instead of eating rubbish and sitting on my bum. Be a healthy person for both myself AND my wee boy!

Anyhoo - as I say, lot to lose, so if anyone is in same boat and wants to buddy up and support each other, I'm up for that. :)

Hiya :) I'm also doing weight watchers and have a lot of weight to lose! I've been doing weight watchers on and off for a year but I have more reasons than ever to stay motivated now.
Next year I'm going to be a bridesmaid for my sister, I have pcos and want to conceive.
How are you finding it so far? Xx

Hiya! I know this'll sound weird, and I know cos I'm so big I get lots of points (at the moment), but I seem to have HEAPS to eat! I'm pointing everything, and logging on the app (I'm doing WW online, not going to classes) - so know I'm ok and within my points. Guess it just takes getting used to. Plus I'm eating MUCH healthier and regularly, and drinking enough fluid - the COMPLETE opposite of what I WAS doing. Also - TMI but geezo I'm peeing for Scotland last couple of days! Lol

I have PCOS too hun. Weight loss def helps with fertility. I finally managed to have a successful pregnancy when I lost weight a few years back. He's 5 now :)

Hi Jo! :)

Yeah sometimes I think should I really be eating this much? How many points are you on? I'm on 55 a day I weigh 24st9lbs and 5ft10.
That's so good to hear you had a successful pregnancy :) I also follow online. That's good that you're doing the opposite, I find it hard to stay on track and slip into old habits. That's why I need a buddy to stay motivated! Lol xx

I'm on 54pp a day (24st 2.75, 6' tall). It just seems like LOADS lol! (Why am I complaining?! Lol) :D

Lol it's brilliant! I can still have the occasional McDonald's and still fit it in my points :) how much are you aiming to lose? Xx

I would like to be 14st.
So that's 10st 2 lb to lose

I've set my target at 15st. Weight doesn't seem to fall off me quickly but I guess that's down the the pcos so my first goal is to be 19st13lbs! I can't wait to be under 20stone! At the beginning of last year I was in the high 21's then i moved into my own house where I could eat what I want when I want and I gained 3 stone! I wish I could lose it as quick as I gain! Xx

Totally know what you mean! Me and hubby separated just over 2 years ago. Weight waaaaay up. But I eat more when bf not here cos no one's looking!!

Yeah I'm the same lol. We both love our food though and sometimes we bring the worst out of each other when it comes to eating! It doesn't take a lot to persuade each other to get a takeaway! Xx

Oh definitely same here. Love a takeaway!

heeeeyyyy x

I know that feeling, pcos is one of the most frustrating things a doc once said to me that somebody with pcos losing 2lbs is like somebody without losing 5lbs! Didn't make me feeli any better tho! Lol x

Very frustrating :/ the thing it though the doctors don't even seem to care! With regards to conception they told me to buy folic acid to help regulate my periods (which it hasn't) and that's all! I know someone who was prescribed metformin and lost 6stone but I've never been offered any help! People always say "because your bigger it'll fall off you" but they have no idea! Xx

Same here, my docs actually prescribed me metformin for a time, it was the one thing that did seem to help with my weightloss then decided actually they wouldn't prescribe it me as apparently they had been told not to anymore. I was so angry and peed off! My periods are all over the shop god knows if I will be even able to have kids if one day I decide to espesh when I am fast approaching the big 3-0 :0

Yep people think that it will, plus I'm sure they think I'm making it up when I say that I am following the plan (whichever one I happen to be doing!!) to the letter x

I was never given help either! Just told to lose weight and symptoms would decrease! Um....HELLO??

Really!? That's ridiculous. Why start you on something that's working to take it away! Makes me so mad. Well I'm only 23, me and my partner aren't like crazy trying but we decided I'd stop taking the pill and not put any pressure there and just see what happens for a start. I took xenical before and they always offer me that again but I don't like the side affects xx

I know I was really peed off. Well that seems a good approach no pressure I'm sure will help. Tbf I am nowhere near planning a child, I would need a partner first lol, oh and I'm 8 weeks into a nursing degree so would be terrible timing. Just hoping if I decide to one day along with genetic stuff that the circumstantial stuff doesn't stop it happening!

Same here with xenical, that's what they gave me when they took metformin away but was second time of taking it and I hate what it does too x

A partner would help I guess hehe. The worst thing is not even knowing whether I can or not.
Xenical worked well and would be great if I could never leave the house! lol xx
