Think I've blown it!

Hi all.

This is my 3rd week doing WW and I think I have blown it. I used to do SW but knew the plan inside out which made me complacent. I have enjoyed WW, and lost 4lbs so far but I made the mistake of having a few drinks (within my points) at the weekend and then having a pizza the following day - the day I weigh in. So I basically used all my weeklies in one go. I have gone over a little bit each day and just feel like I'm failing all over again with a new plan and thinking whats the point!

Its my sons birthday tomorrow and we are going to Alton Towers we will be taking a picnic but there will probably be some eating out along the way. I just feel a bit lost and torn as to whether I should sack this week and start afresh on Monday or try and stick to the daily points and accept I may go over with no weeklies to use but limit the damage!

Hi - I would suggest you just point whatever you had - be honest about it and just try and claw back some points by doing some exercise and gaining some acitvity points. Go out with your son tomorrow and enjoy yourself. If you go over your weeklies dont worry too much, life does get in the way sometimes and as long as you dont go too mad with what you eat then weigh in might not be as bad as you think its going to be. Have a lovely day with your son tomorrow and dont be so hard on yourself. Dieting is full of ups and downs - its called life and we all struggle at times.

Hey! Sometimes life gets in the way, enjoy taking the scenic route, it's more fun and uses less petrol ;-) I got to goal in 19wks last year, yes it took ages but I enjoyed life still and enjoyed every mouthful of my pp and my weekly pp! X

Thanks guys. I think I just needed a bit of reassurance I am so desperate to lose the weight now that when I have a bad week it totally puts me off. I haven't fully got my head round WW yet need to rewire my brain away from SW!

It'll come with time and if u need a chat or advice, we are all here for you :) x

It's when you crash headfirst and don't stop and keep on going where the problem is. Everyone is human and we all have special occasions, or hard days when we give in. The trick is not to be to hard on yourself when you do it. Noone in the world would/can stick to a diet/plan everysingledayforever. It happens, especially whilst you're learning.

Like posters above say, the most important thing is to be honest about it with yourself - it's only you you're cheating otherwise. Can you do some exercise or something to minimize it? Can you keep within your points the other days etc? (have to admit I don't do new WW so I don't know the ins and outs) Keep going love! You'll soon learn all about it - just don't ever throw the towel in over one little mistake and go on to make a thousand more. You can do it - we're behind you :)
