Hi, my name is Gill and I'm a fat person :)
I'm new to minimins and am looking at joining WW. I was wondering what WW is like for vegetarians and for those trying to follow a cleaner eating style? I dont want to join WW and find ive made another mistake. I've given up on SW after returning to group a.million times!
Thsnks :)

Hi!

I follow ww as a veggie and really enjoy it! I live on carbs and quorn and as long as I make sensible choices, it works fine! I have also tried and failed with sw many, many times! I love the plan but just can't stick to it. Now sw have done away with Green days, it's made me 100% that ww is for me. I lost 3 with them a few years ago and have lost 11lbs so far this time around. Good luck xx

Haha I love the start of your thread ;) hi Gill ive been on WW since end of November doing the online plan ive lost 15lbs ive found myself eating much better lots more veg and even fruit! I've still been having quorn and the odd treats, of course-crumpets etc and I have a bag of crisps and a gold bar every night :) cause it's in my points! I don't feel restricted as a veggie on ww and I don't find myself relying on carbs all the time I rarely eat jacket spuds now as they're like 7/8 pp (I will make home made chips tho lol) an im not into pasta really I just go with whatever points ive got! I might make Thai quorn curry or a ww curry or a chilli in the slow cooker and roast butternut squash and pour it over that! It's made me not rely on convenience foods etc as much I put a lot more thought into my grub and plan it more! Good luck xx

I've found WW a good plan for Vegetarian meals, especially as most (but by no means all) veg is zero PP. I've just spent this afternoon making Zero soups for the next couple of weeks and I've found veggie stir fry a lifesaver recently.

Don't believe anything about WW meaning you have to eat processed branded food, it's not true. SW has a good plan (or it did last year when I tried it, I haven't been since the new packs but it isn't flexible enough for me right now).

I have been a member on here a few years and was doing SW but have put the weight on that Il ost and now can't shift it with SW.
I am going to join WW next week - they do a vegetarian plan which they didn't when I last looked at WW.
I have at least one and a half stone to lose and know this is possible if I follow the plan, I go on holiday at the end of July. and at the moment there is no way I would wear a bikini like I did last year.

I'm switching from SW to WW as the class is more convenient. I am a vegan and I want to do clean eating/cooking from fresh. Fruit and veggies are my friends. I like that you can eat anything on WW you just have to count it or you can do filling and healthy which I'm seriously leaning towards as it's like SW where pulses, beans grains potatoes are free and you get 49 weekly points to spend. Think this will be the way I'll go

I am off to WW class tonight at 5.30pm and in a strange way looking forward to the new challenge.
For my breakfast I have had 1 slice of wholemeal toast topped with a small tin of tomatoes and baked beans. For lunch as I am eating out I will have a JP witheither Tuns Mayo or Cheese and salad. Looking forward to getting the books so that I can start forward planning.
I am hoping to lose at least a stone before my holidays in July and then I will be back to last years holiday weight. My clothes are far too snug at the moment.

Hi, I've just registered on here and I also am a veggie and ex SW also, since they stopped the green plan. I am trying WW and went to class but didn't like it. Found it a bit depressing compared to SW, so trying to do it myself at home. I find it is good but it does get me down, all the counting, but I prefer the variety of food. I lost 2 stone at SW and I have another 1 1/2 to 2 stone to lose but so far it has been a bit hit and miss. I am hoping now I have found this website that I will get the momentum I need. Heres hoping x

I'm Veggie (No Meat or Fish) and have lost 1st 3lb in 6wks with WW :) X I didn't get on with SW but absolutely love the flexibility of WW especially when eating out. X
