Weight watchers or Slimming World

right diet starts AGAIN tomorrow just need to find a one to stick to in the past out of the two ww seemed to work better on me than sw but I'm torn between the two has anyone else found it difficult to chose? Which one works best for you? I would like to know as this diet I am gonna stick to to try n lose at least a stone and a half by September :)

I've only ever done SW and can't comment on which would be best for you, only you know that.

What I would say is consider which is going to fit in with your lifestyle, which could you realistically stick to, would it fit in with the whole family, these are the things I'd consider before making a decision.

You could have a mooch around both WW & SW and view some diaries and see which appeals to you the most.

Good luck in whatever you decide.
 
I'm a serial swapper and get no where because of it. Personally I find ww easier if you eat out alot or don't have much time to cook. It's easier to grab food on the go. Sw is better if you don't mind cooking the majority of meals from scratch and like big portions. Ww does have an option called filling and healthy which is similar to sw, in the way of filling up on 'free food' and then count the pp of anything outside of these. You can switch daily between this and counting so can have a mix of the approaches depending on what you're doing that day.

I really struggled with this decision but I'm too greedy for slimming world!! I just are way way to many carbs and gained weight !! :( what have u decided on? X

I'm like you im too greedy they say free pasta so I fill my plate n binge - giving WW a try at least then it's got portion control my dailies work out at 30 and then the 49 weeklies defo think it's worth a go ...... Watch this space ? xx
 
I love pasta I would just sit with a massive bowl of it and a massive bowl of grapes and be happy as a pig in mud till I got on the scales LOL x
 
If you like to cook and eat lots of fresh fruit and veg then SW is great!
Me on the other hand....... I'm not great at cooking and often need to grab something quickly. I also like to have some chocolate every day so WW gets my vote :)

I like cooking but not overly keen on fruit I have also found SW more expensive to follow than WW especially all the fresh ingredients you have to cook with

Day 3 on WW n I'm quite happy so far n like you I LOVE chocolate especially Nutella so ww at least I can point it in :)

Hi I have been following feedback and will be joining WW on Saturday morning, I am also doing the 5:2 fasting plan so I will combined it together.
 
I always think about doing the 5:2 but I find the thought of it really daunting I feel like I'm awake so long in the days that it will seem like an impossibly long time without food. I get up at 5.45 and bed about 11.00. How do u find it?

I find it ok I prepare my 500 calories throughout the day. I save them for lunch and dinner :)

Let me know how your combining goes I'll be interested to see the results - I'm really hoping the scales show a decent loss for my first week on WW I feel I'm getting to grips with points now first couple of days I felt hungry xx

I didn't join a class yesterday I missed it at 10am. But still considering joining. Good luck with your first week , do u have a diary on here ? X

Thanks weigh in on Tuesday so 2 days to go dunno how I'm feeling had a bit of a gutsy day yesterday but back on it today so hopefully not too bad

Haven't got a diary on here coz I didn't want to start one till I knew what plan I was going to be doing if it's a decent loss on Tuesday I may start one coz I do find them helpful :) plus makes you feel like your not going it alone xx
 
Well first week wi and I've lost 4lb - I'm very happy with that hopefully this is the start :) will have a little skip in my step today for my little 4lb achievement! X
