My fasting diary .
Well I have tried every diet under the sun and failed at all of them. I can be great on diets but I am an emotional eater and when I am stressed or anxious or just had a really crap day I eat. I am hoping that by only having to fast 2 days of the week I wont feel as deprived as I would normally. I have read the book and read lots of threads on here and I feel really motivated.
I will weigh in tomorrow morning.

I have todays food all totalled up on MFP and it comes to 499 cals . Wish me luck !!
You're beating me by a calorie - I'm bang on 500 for today!
All I can say is I'm on my fourth week and it does get easier :)

I have had 1 small banana at breakfast and a black coffee
Lunch 1 tin of WW soup and 1 dry ryvita
Tea was WW ready meal and 100 g raw mushrooms dry fried with garlic.
I have had water and diet drinks too. It hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be but I have felt hungry. Mandy does it get easier as in you don't feel as hungry or do you just get used to being hungry ?
You're doing really well. I think you stop analysing everything and just get on with it after the first week or so, you also find out what works best for you. I find I'm better going as long as I possibly can, I usually manage until about 3 and have ham or a yogurt, then eat a normalish meal at 7. My husband skips breakfast and splits his cals between lunch and tea.
Promise yourself you'll give it a couple of weeks, then decide if it's for you.
Keep up the good work and remember that you can have what you want tomorrow without feeling guilty :)
Thank you Mandy I've just caved in and had a coffee with a splash of skimmed milk. I am a coffee addict and I've found it really hard to only have one black one this morning. I've got a really bad head and I suspect its with not having enough coffee today. Do you normally count anything on non fast days ? I am aiming to just be sensible and see how it goes I have done lots of diets and not counting feels weird. You've done really well Mandy .
Doing great so far! Almond milk is great instead of milk as the unsweetened one has only 3cals per 25mls. Yummy! Great day so far! Xxx
Thanks Carrie I can imagine it's lovely on cereal but is it ok in coffee ? or any hot drinks really ?
I love it in a Yorkshire tea lol, and in coffee. I prefer black coffee so mostly have it in my tea but at 3cals for a cup of tea? Perfect lol xxx

Almond milk is going on my shopping list, thanks for the tip Carrie :)
I really miss tea, I try to save a few calories for milk but it doesn't go far!
I use MFP and try to stay under 2000 calories per feast day on average.
I'll be going to bed soon, I always have early nights on fast days. I'm always frozen too!

I love porridge with unsweetened almond milk and a sweetener tablet added :-)
