    stared yesterday any help/advice welcome.x

    Hi, well after reading up on several diets I've decided that this could be just about right for me. Ive lost and regained weight most of my adult life I've done SW, WW, plain old calorie counting , slimfast and Cambridge to name a few. Ive lost weight on all of them with good success from SW, WW and my personal favourite Cambridge, but I get bored with SW WW and Cambridge I'm great on until I have to move up the plans and introduce food. So I thought I would try a whole new diet one that on paper looks like I could do forever.x

    So yesterday was my first day and I did a fast day , I had yogurt and granola for breakfast and half fat houmus carrot sticks, celery sticks and cucumber for my tea 488cals, I was hungry or just craving the usual evening snacks but kept thinking I've not done this all day just to stuff my face tonight so I read a book and had an early night.lol

    Thanks everyone.x day3today I've put a stew in the slow cooker so it will be ready as soon as we get in from work, yum.x Tomorrow will be my 2nd fast day I will be making some broccoli and stilton soup for that.x

    Hi, thank you for your welcomes. Well my 1st fast day was Monday which was fine and my 2nd fast day was today which was fine it seems I'm an all or nothing girl, I can eat nothing all day and I'm fine but start eating in the morning and I can't stop!!! In all honesty I've been doing ok it just seems strange to not couth n weigh everything.x. I've read a few different things about this diet so could any/all of you tell me how many calories you eat on a fast day and how many on a non fast day please. Ive been doing 500on a fast and 1500 on a non fast but have read other figures.x

    anything as long as it is accounted for. ... I.e water, peppermint tea is calorie free but you'd have to count milk in tea/coffee, cals in pop, juice alcohol etc......

    Good luck with your weight loss. I've just finished week 3 (although week 2 wasn't great) and have lost 4kg. Scales have been put away now until 1st March as I'm a daily weigher.
    I have 500 on fast days and try to keep it under 2000 on non fast days. I have 3 fast days if I can though x

    Hi well after week1 I'm 1lb down I'm happy with that as I've done no gym work this week due to family being poorly and other things also star week turned up over the weekend, so I'm all set to get back to the gym this week and keep on track.xx. Hope you all have a good week.x

    Hi I'm back to fasting today after too long a break . I've also done all the diets many times only to regain what I'd lost plus more . Did Calorie Counting last year and added some fast days and got to my first target in July . I have maintained my weight give or take a few lbs for the first time ever but after staying around this weight have decided I'd like to loose another 14lbs getting to my final target so that's why I'm back on plan. My fast days will be Monday and Wednesday 500 cals and between 1200-1500 on other days . First day done and feeling fine I have drank lots more water and fruit tea and this has helped. Also back to jogging from tomorrow hope to do 2-3 times per week not on fast days though as don't think I'd have enough energy . Best of luck and I really think this is a diet that you can do for life .

    Well week 2 done and lost 3lbs this week very very happy with that.x
