By Audrey and Sophie Boss. Has anyone read them, following it? I am thinking of ditching SW/diets in favour of this and eating consciously. I've just bought the Beyond Temptation and will start to read it tonight, all about how to stop from over eating. I've joined their forum it was very reasonable and will stick around here and blog. I've tried SW for 6 weeks so will try this for 6 weeks to give it a good shot- excited :)))

Hi Crunchy

just wondering how you're getting on with this? I have tried similar 'conscious eating' plans/processes before, but its such a long slow process to change long-standing habits that my resolve hasn't lasted long.

I am week 3 of SW and enjoying the healthy way of eating, and I am still trying to do conscious eating with it as well, ie only eating when physically hungry and trying to talk to myself when I get cravings for usual binge foods - trying to find another way of dealing with them. That in itself is a majorly long slow process, so I feel following a healthy eating plan alongside it is best ie like SW, because I don't actually feel like I am dieting on it as there is so much to eat, I just feel like I am following a healthy eating plan....

How are you going?

Rachael.

I also meant to add that I have had major choc cravings for years and years, since childhood, like after every meal I must have something sweet... I was researching it the past few months and reading a lot about candida/yeast overload in the body, and so for the past 6 weeks I have been taking a supplement called Total Candida Defence by Silvertown and it has made such a difference to my sugar craving levels - it is truly amazing. However, if I do have one piece - the downward spiral starts again!

If anyone really struggles with sugar cravings I suggest reading "Why do you overeat, when all you want is to be slim?" by Zoe Harcombe - she has her own diet now [The Harcombe Diet] which to me is pretty similar to the Slimming World way of eating [if you limit your sugars/refined foods] which is why I joined SW.

Candida is the silent saboteur!

Hi I've been following BC for about 7 years and feel much happier in myself, have started moving etc. However, I've just joined sw as I now go running and want to run faster.

I'm trying to approach it in a kinder way, talking to myself when I feel like overeating and reminding myself I'm choosing to eat these fresh foods. I'd love to know how you're doing?
