    Ciao Chow xD

I've been "on a diet" for 5 maybe 6 years now.. initially, I got so very close to my goal.

But then I let go.. slowly slowly I started to gain again, all the while still "dieting". With a month of Burger King, that "Isn't so bad, I'm keeping a look at kcals sometimes, and I'm trying protein shakes so it's fine" sort of attitude, and the stupidest weight loss plans, I haven't gotten very far.

So I'm trying a new approach. Veges, cooking and calories/macros. In a nutshell.

And connecting with those in a similar place <3

I'm sick of dieting tho, this is more a...

2015 will be my summer in the beach! =D

You can do it. You're not on a diet, you are changing your lifestyle and the benefit of doing that is you will achieve your target.

That's the plan! Add in a couple of cheats here and there, and I forget I'm doing it sometimes, notice that I've logged the last 3 days to 1200kcal and remember I've been 'dieting' the whole time haha

I suppose it's time to log my first day here!

Of all the days, today I was closest to my fat goal.. still too much carbs.. but I wouldn't know what else to eat.. I will try harder for protein when I get back to London and have an oven or a microwave or even a frying pan ;(

Still it was a filling day, I haven't felt hungry at all.. though I am craving a chocolate.. good thing I don't have any.. maybe some vanilla protein shake.. would be so delicious.. I'm only 1,234 so maybe if I do some squats or something

Back to the point, break down of my day:

Lunch: 354kcal Tagliatelle with mushrooms, grape tomato and broccoli in tomato-y sauce.
Dinner: 562kcal BBQ chicken wing, potatoes with green onion and green beans with garlic paste.
Other: ~318kcal 3 teas with 2 sugars (2 with mint), Pistachio Gelato, Rasperries, tuna with hot sauce.

Thanks! No where near some the pics you see around.. I started cooking like a month or 2 ago, still just throwing whatever I can find in a pan and boiling it and then taking a pictures to prove I did it haha

Hello blubex! Thank you, and good luck to you too! =)
What got me through it the first time I succeeded, was being able to have what I want, and if there's no calories today, it's always "I'll have it tomorrow" rather than straight out "no =!" But as you said, because I could, I didn't! =D

As for my diary, weekends are not good for me =p
While I certainly haven't over eaten, I didn't quiet count either.. food wise I imagine I was within limit.. buuuutt boyfriend came to visit from London, and things haven't been so smooth lately so there's been quiet a bit of drinking =/

Oh well.. I have started the 30 day squat challenge on Friday.. 3 days in, and still on it! Here's working for those buns of steel and washboard abs! ;D *fingers crossed*

I have totally blown it today for the first time! joining a gym this week so will have to work hard on burning some calories and will have a strict day to pull things back into line.

hope you and your boyfriend manage to sort things. x

I can't do squats because they kill my knees but keep avoiding the 30 day plank challenge even though I know it will help me! !!

That's something I always worry about.. The one day I totally let go of the diet, I just can't continue ;(
It's good you're making up for it to though!

My office which is a 5 minute walk from here has a 24 hr gym.. I was supposed to be going.. buuut I hate gym so much ;(

The best I've gotten out of exercise was T25.. I did 3 weeks, and enjoyed it too! Hadn't paid attention to the difference at the time, but when I went back and looked at the stats I was taking, I had lost inches all over, nearly 3 off my waist! But all the moving around and lack of TV, haven't been able to get back to it yet.

Also thanks at boyfriend part.. at least the good of it, its making me work harder on my health and body haha

I'm not a big gym fan to be honest but my daughter is at her dad's 2 or 3 nights a week and I'm finding that the nights She's not here I just crash in front of the tv. .. not good when I finish work at 4! so I figured the gym would get me out of the house for am hour on those nights and help boost my losses. ... I was thinking of joining a weight loss group instead but I don't think that would help as I have my diet nailed 95% of the time and I don't think a group would help improve that! I did insanity last year but don't think I'm fit enough to do it again at the moment. ..I've not tried T25 but it sounds good :-) x

I have not been doing well.

Going through a break up alone in a foreign country and then had my phone stolen meant I stopped logging food, stopped coming here and kinda just put my diet at a lower priority.

But that's not how it should be.. I don't want to have been left behind to rot and get fat.. I have to make it work and look hot and shatter him the next time we meet!

    So I'm back haha

My problem isn't overeating, I'm just back to drinking everyday.
I know it's bad, I know there are too much kcals in alchi.. But nothing is going to stop me right now, I'm going out, I'm meeting people, traveling every weekend and it's a blast and sure beats sitting at home alone and crying.

I'll just have to find a way to keep doing what I'm doing and keep losing.. Call it an experiment =)
