Not feeling it

Hi all

Ive only been calorie counting since 3 Jan and am pleased to say Ive lost 9lbs. I keep thinking thats 4 and a half bags of sugar which is great but I dont feel like Ive lost anything. Is that pretty standard or is it just me? Perhaps because Im so big I need to lose more to be able to feel it?

I think if I could feel like Im losing weight it would give me more of a boost but maybe Im expecting too much?

9lbs is great, well done! I think most people who have a fair amount to lose feel the same way - I didn't really feel much different until I'd lost about 3 stone probably, because I was about 10 stone overweight. Sometimes I still feel that way, so I try on the trousers I bought for my nephew's wedding in 2011, which are now 7 sizes too big, and that cheers me up, lol. So concentrate on how well you're doing, keep up the good work, and soon you'll have trousers that won't stay up and it'll be worth all the effort! :) xx

Hi Sharon, sorry to hear your feeling a bit down. Keep persevering because your proof that it works and you will feel it soon enough x

I was the same Sharon I'm 6-7 stone over weight didn't really feel any different till if lost 2 st still got 4 to goooo!

Thanks so much for your replies ladies. Made me feel better now I know it's not just me. And if I get to the stage where trousers fall off me I'll be over the moon!! Lol
You've all done great so I just hope I can do as well ~ thanks for the extra inspiration =)
