Thumbs up May 2014 "Princess Peanuts Cycle" Challenge

    Hey all

I am looking for a challenge for myself in May and I think Im going to make it a cycle challenge (inspired by just a drop challenge) and Im going to go for 1000 miles in 31 days (that's around 33 miles a day if you're wondering - eeeeeek!!)

Please feel free to join me or let me know of any challenges you are undertaking and we can support each other through this!

I won't be looking for sponsorship but I love a challenge, I find it keeps me motivated and focused! So once I return from my 2 week holiday I will be thrown straight into this challenge at the start of May and I look forward to posting my updates and pics!! x

With that kind of exercise you'll need to be on at least Step 3. Fair play though - that's an excellent challenge and one which will bring you immediate results. Good for you!

Thank you! I know its a little crazy, but Im currently doing 30-50mins of exercise 5/6 days a week anyway and I figure if I replace this with cycling... I think riding for around 30-40mins a day should do it and then extra on the weekends! Its worth a shot and normally I see things like this through and it will keep me focused thats for sure! If I dont do, then nothing has been lost, but I will definitely give it a shot x

Wow how fast do you cycle? I used to cycle 11 miles to and from work (total of 22 miles per day) and that took me 45 mins each day! Good luck with your challenge and I hope you smash it!

Haha I may well be being a bit optimistic! I am used to a spin bike (which as you are probably aware, can move quite quickly) but as you can't track distance on here, Im just going to be using the normal bikes at the gym thank you! I will keep an updated diary so you can all have a good laugh at me haha x
