    Well week one hello to everyone Just before I start my diary I wanted to say this site is fantastic and all the diaries and posters on it are such an inspiration! End of day 3 new to Cambridge. Not hungry as yet. Needing more than 2.25 litres of water as first night tongue felt like a sandy flip flop and actually woke me up. Had lots of people telling me its not healthy am I mad etc etc. But I have alot to lose and determined to do it. Tried WW and SW. All meds xenical, reductil and accomplia. Latter 2 suspended from market and the last one actually worked!!! The porridge is not to my liking the spicy tomato soup surprised me it was lush. Chocolate shakes in all guises are nice just need to try choc orange.
    Well weighing on Friday heres hoping.

    Well day 4 wasn't easy, felt hungry still don't think ketosis has arrived yet. Day 5 and I feel totally different had first shake at 10.30 not hungry at all. Coping with water intake and cant wait to see the results on Friday.

    Well done for getting past day 4, I am on day 6, and found the hunger pangs definately get less and less as you pass the days...

    I think for me, it is just about changing habits that I have adopted all my adult life, and avoid making the wrong choices, a sausage roll from the shop for brekkie instead of porridge with no sugar or a poached egg.

    I really hope you make it to your goal weight, some of the stories and pictures on here are amazing aren't they!!

    Yesterday was quite hard but I overcame my pangs for food knowing weighing the day after. Result on the scale 13lbs off . Got my next week of shakes can't wait to see the loss next week!

    Yes it is, found the weekend hard friends had a indian take away on Sat and was at a childs party today and helped cooked the food so tempted to come off the diet. But I resisted. I saw a photo of myself so onward with Cambridge.

    Day 11 and it is much easier . I am trying to keep busy as I am waiting to find a new job. Spent 18 months converting from nursing to midwifery and waiting to hear on interviews. My life is kinda on hold til I know I have the security of a job. Until then its nursing agency work. Trying to stave off the boredom by trying to keep busy and not think of food.

    Day 13 not hungry at all, weigh day tomorrow. I bought a smart black suit yesterday ready for upcoming interviews. Glad not eating as the stress of job hunting would get me bingeing on the carbs and chocs. Bought the Beck diet solution book in the works for £2.99 (hardback).

    Day 14 Woo Hoo

    Day 14 and lost another 8lbs! Thats 1 stone 7lbs in 2 weeks . My CDC very good. Went on the power plate again (for free), gonna try some bars this week only ordered 4 had a caramel on for breakfast and was lush. Well its a nice day off to take my Mum out.
