    It's my diary & I'll cry if I want to....😄

    ....... this time and this year!

    History: I'm a been here, that Cambridge and been there, that's Slim and Save as far as vlcd's are concerned. Both times I reached 8st 7lb but never quite made the effort to reach my ultimate goal for the usual reasons I didn't continue to but the effort in I needed to. I also wanted the support of a CWP consultant and needed a fresh approach.

    So met my new CWP consultant this evening and came away weighed, measured and armed with my packs for my first week. I managed all day on 2 black coffees and water until about an hour ago when I had my first pack. So far no headaches no hunger so a good start though I'm realistic and know I will face a few challenges this week with social events, hunger, weakness and fear.

    Start weight on CWP scales 10st 8˝lbs (can't blame it all on the water I drank today!

    Day 1 completed. Slept poorly but it's seems par for the course on vlcd in the initial days. I wrote my journal up last night and I'm recording my daily weight on an app called my weight which is basic but works for me. There appears to be a 2lb difference between my morning weigh in yesyetrsay 10st 6 ˝lbs and the CWP consultants evening weigh 10st 8 ˝ lbs.
    Therefore I'm aiming for a 38 ˝lbs loss. Deep breath I'm not going to panic just get on with it.

    Thanks for dropping Missie, yes I'm doing SS although I've agreed with the CWP I can switch between SS+ and SS if I need to rather than waiver and end up stuffing myself with something completely off plan.

    Day 2 completed and drank a lot of sparkling water this evening as I was out for dinner with a friend and managed to explain I had a big lunch and couldn't face eating anything. So a bit of a fib but I've qualms about that because with any diet and particular vlcd people have their opinions and can either sabotage or just vocal which I can do without.

    I did find the day quite tricky and I felt hunger which I didn't yesterday but I went for a walk at lunchtime which distracted me and then popped out for a coffee which helped distract me too.

    Im just keeping my focus on next Monday when I see my CWP consultant for weigh in. I'm a tad nervous about weighing in the evening as I think drinking the water through the day can give a false reading so I will just have to remain positive but in the meantime get through another day and work on the mental approach of staying committed to losing weight.

    Day 3 and woke up with vile tasting mouth and not having slept too well but nevertheless happy!

    Did is a sneak daily weigh 10.3.6 and certainly reinforced the fact I know this diet works (even when the scale doesn't budge or goes up with daily weighing).

    Planning ahead though not wanting to get to get complacent that I can do this I'm hoping that by day 30 I could be 10-11 lbs going my my previous vlcd losses. For now I'll focus on getting through day 3 today.

    Thank you ladies! I must admit I feel refreshed by starting new diary and switching to CWP. Have to say I love th convenience of the tetras though I have to add water as they very thick and are more palatable diluted. I love th oriental chilli soup I could have thay on a regular basis easily.

    Day 3 has gone well and without incident. Felt a slight pang in afternoon when I was stressed with and use at work but oped out and got a black coffee and it do the trick.

    I used keto stick this evening and it's showing very pink thiugh not sure that is because I may not have drank enough water or not but encouraging nonetheless.

    Carrie I'm defintitely going to incorporate the 5:2 on a forward going basis and I know I need to cut alcohol out significantly post weight loss on vlcd.

    What's going to be different time? More planning ahead, and a commitment to keep the weight off and with it before it creeps up a stone bracket. I'm keeping my journal I write up by and which helps keeps me focused on keeping to okan and hopefully this time maintaining.

    Awake in the middle of the night or could call it day 4. Poor sleep and foot cramp hasn't been good and interestingly foot cramp is not something I recall experiencing when doing slim and save. I read the CWP faqs and they suggest it's the mineral content of the products? Hope it pased as it's awful.

    Day 4! Lou I'm afraid I couldn't get back to sleep until 5.30! Literally dragged myself out of bed 15 mins ago! Having coffee to wake up! Ketosis showing very pink so that's encouraging but I do feel exhausted

    Day 4 almost done! Ketosis is showing pink but I did have waves of mild hunger/empty feeling but overcame them. I did hear little voices in my head telling me this is too hard and I could lose weight eating real food and reducing portions calories etc. however as a seasoned Yoyo dieter I know I could lose weight that way but only having been in the cycle of overeating and then not I know the vlcd route is the best option for me to get going on weightloss.

    Hoping to to have better sleep and no cramp in my feet tonight.

    Hi Kira, I'm also a been there done that. This is my second attempt at Cambridge, just started again today. I got down to my goal weight and kept it off for over a year. I stopped weighing myself and before I knew I had put on over 2st. 😞
    Just want to get through the next three days because I know how easy it gets after that.
