To help keep me motivated and active I've entered a 5K in May, it's a race for life one in Rochester.
I wondered a) if anyone else fancies tracking their progress in running on here and b) if anyone lives in the area and wants to run together on the day?
Sunday run not particularly fast but covered about 4.5K!
So incredibly happy before that my longest run was about 2K.
Onwards to the 5k and working at going a little faster
Tonight ran from my office to the station it's about 2K with a couple of hills which should help with the training.
Not sure whoever ends up sat next me will appreciate me being all hot and sweaty!
Training plan going well. Ran about 4.7K at the weekend in 38 mins which I'm really chuffed about. Hopefully by May I can bring that time right down to under 30mins
Also went for a long cycle on Sunday such a gorgeous day couldn't resist and really enjoyed it.
Mixing up the running and cycling should be less strain on the bones and joints
