Morning all!

I'm re-starting Dukan today.

I started Dukan at the end of last October and lost nearly 2 stone; I had just under a stone to go to target...
However, I've messed about a lot since Christmas and have yo-yo-ed more than a yo-yo! So I've decided (after the carb-fest of the last month) that I am going to go back to the beginning and this time I'm going to finish.

I've weighed in at 11st 7.4lb this morning (I've put about 8lbs on through wine and carbs!) and I've re-done my stats on the Dukan site.
According to the good Dr, after 2 days of Attack (to lose 2lbs) and 69 days of Cruise (to get to 10st) I will reach my True Weight on 13 July and will then have 99 days of Consolidation.

So here goes...

NB: I have since realised that the calculation for Consolidation needs to be based on both parts of my Dukan journey - so Conso will be 195 days.

Today's Attack food plan:

B: oatbran porridge with cinnamon
L: boiled egg & sardines
D: chicken - lots of...

Plus a couple of pints of water, and a boatload of black teas & coffees.

Pleased with how today has gone.

Congrats and best wishes. Sounds like you are more determined this time, and you know the pit-falls. What did the biscuits turn out like? Am trying to find a 'nice' way to consume the oat bran myself! Not tried biscuits though?

The biscuits were lovely. Although I saved them until this afternoon so they weren't crunchy - but they were when they came out of the oven.
I used 1 1/2 tbs oatbran, a large tablespoon of skimmed milk, a tsp of sweetener & 1/2 tsp of dried ginger - mixed it all together, put in 2 splodges on a baking sheet & baked for about 15 mins.

3.2lb off this morning so that's 5.6lb off in my 2 attack days. Pleased with that result.

Going to do a PP day today:

B: ginger oatbran biscuit
L: sardines
D: a bit of spicy mince, and a plate of ham & scrambled eggs

Missed you being back 'on the wagon' - what a great start you have made Milton - know you can see this through now - good luck!!!!!!!! x

Thanks Trudy. Just this last pesky stone to go!
What I have realised this week is that if I focus and get down to TW & then consolidate then keeping around TW should be a lot easier.
The 1/2 stone I've lost this week being back on the Dukan wagon was mainly gained in the last fortnight by my bread and wine consumption (and not of the religious variety either!) so once I get through the next 2 stages, as long as I keep a constant eye on my overall weight and do the weekly PP day then I should actually be in control for once.

Sounds like a very positive, realistic and achievable plan!!! Well Done! x

wow well done for part 1 and part 2! Ur attack certainly produced fast results, good luck with the rest of your journey ;-)

PV day today:

B: 3 ginger muffins - if I close my eyes I could imagine they were lovely, sticky slices of Jamaica Ginger Cake - I've got a vivid imagination!
S: a raw courgette (I pretended it was a banana!!)
L: tinned mackeral, ham & salad veg
S: cajun spicy swede 'chips'
D: chicken & swede casserole followed by stewed rhubarb & yogurt

Phew - ate a lot, didn't I??

hahaha you do have an imagination milton lol may be a great thing to get you through Dukan x

Another PV day today - forgot I'd invited the parents over for tea! So I'll do a PV then 3xPPs.

PV food today:

B: rhubarb, topped with yogurt & sprinkled with 1tbs of wheatbran & some ginger.....yummy!
L: 2 boiled eggs
D: well that didn't quite go to plan.....

Not a good result after being so strict for 5 1/2 days! Oh well, onwards....

I've just had a realisation.....

I read the post on the main part about things to take note of when going onto Consolidation - and I've realised that the calculation of the number of days I need to spend in Consolidation that I put in Post #1 is based purely on Part 2 of my journey - when in fact I will actually need to do (12st 11lb - TW 10st = 2st 11lb = 39lbs) is 39 x 5 days = 195 days! Bit of a difference!

I'm glad I realised now and not later....
