Dukan tomo - Day 1 attack w/PCOS

Day 1 tomorrow, all stocked up on protein.

Need all the support I can get please people. I will post a daily update.

I have PCOS and IBS which makes it difficult to lose weight.

Sorry this is a vague post, I managed to delete my other one :-/

I'm new to forums.

Any tips/support will be MUCH appreciated xxx

Day 1 DONE! Yay! well, almost...

I had....

Breakfast: 2 x hard boiled eggs and a 0% fat yoghurt

Lunch: Salmon fillet (baked)

Snack: 0% fat yoghurt
Beef slices

Dinner: 1 boiled egg
Steak
Scallops
(random combo I know!)

Drinks: 4xwater
Black coffee w/sweetener
5x Twinings Strawb tee (says all natural on the box are these okay?!)
costa Americano w/skimmed milk and sweetener
Diet coke

I was a tad hungry at work (hence so many fruit teas) Can anyone suggest anything to eat at work on a PP day other than meat slices/salmon. We have a teeny fridge, no microwave.

So glad day 1 is over, i think most of the 'hunger' were just readjusting to Dukan. Had no headaches or anything like that. Was just thinking about food... alot.

Can't wait to weigh in tomo :) xxxxx

Thanks all, I bought tinned tuna today and lots of low fat luncheon meat. I'm still going and still DETERMINED! I have been so busy at work but here are day 2 and 3 progress:

DAY2:

Woke up and weighed in at 11st 9.6 so -1.4lbs

I was a tad disappointed it wasn't more :(

I ate:
BREAKFAST:
0% activia yoghurt with oat bran
1 boiled egg

LUNCH:
Chicken breast wrapped in ham x2

DINNER:
Steak
Chicken in fajita spice powder
Mustard

Coffees w/ skimmed milk
5x water
1xfruit tea
1 diet coke
 
DAY 3:

weighed in at 11st8.7 so another 0.9lbs off making that a loss of 2.3lbs so far.

I hate to sound negative but last time I Dukaned (at a similar weight to now) I'd lost about 5lbs by day 3.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I eating too much?

Any comments would be much appreciated?

My day so far:

BREAKFAST: 0% activia and oatbtran

SNACK: 1% fat chicken tikka fillets

LUNCH: Salmon fillet
Bounce Almond protein ball...(Are these allowed?!)
0% activia (last one for today)
 
Hi Robin

I'm no expert, but I don't think your food is 'clean' enough for Attack. You should be sticking too plain meats (chicken, beef,), fish and totally plain yoghurt (not Activia). Meat should be cooked at home so you know what's in it .... I imagine the (shop bought?) chicken tikka fillets contain fillers and sugar ...

Bounce protein balls (whatever they are) are not allowed - the only allowed foods are the ones on the list.

Thanks Paulinegin. The tikka fillets were less than 1% fat with next to no sugar etc. so i thought they'd be ok.:sigh:

I'll have an extra PP day tomorrow and cut out the activia/random protein ball.
 
Hi all,

I've been reading other Dukan success stories on the forum and think I am having too much salt from marinades/schwarz spice mixes etc and not enough water. So I am starting my attack again tomorrow (all plain protein) until Monday. I will not give up! xxxxx

No need to Attack again, love, move into Cruise. Your body needs veggies and it won't drastically affect your weightloss.

Oh really? I only did a 3 day attack (with lots of banned things I think) so I was going to extend it to Sunday and do it properly. So it will be a 6 day attack. I've noticed people on here started at simlar weights with a week of attack and I'm not finding it that awful.

Also, just stocked up on SF polos, dukangoogled them and they're banned! DAMMIT!

I'll give them to the kids, lol x
 
Ok I'm still here. Had a PV day yday and weighed in at 11.8.2 this morning so only a 0.5lb loss snce my last post before the weekend. I wonder if it's because of PCOS, has anyone else had slow weight loss on dukan because of this?

I'm staying focused tho and will probably do a weekly weigh in after a PP day.

Smoked salmon and wasabi are my new best friends and i have upped my water intake. I take a 2L bottle to work and make sure it's gone before I leave.

Today I ate:

B: FF yog w/1.5tbsp oatbran
L: Smoked salmon and wasabi. Chicken
D: Turkey rashers w/ poached eggs

If anybody has a decent bread recipe i'd love to hear it. :)

Hi robin i suffer with pcos and ibs too. Im seeing very little movement on scales...i have lost my twin preg in dec not sure if the initial move on scales was juat water...
I am struggling because the movement is slow but atleast i havent put any more.
Xmas day i was 76 kg but i started first of jan and was abt 74 kg...back to my normal weight post pcos at 70 ish but i want to be atleast a stone more down on scales

My food is quite clean i think...lets see glad to have been found...i hope we can get pointers from each other...horrid disease that many cant comprehend....im on a real downer...losing weight to help have a baby...thats my only dream unfulfilled.
