Hi guys just a quick hello to everyone and to introduce myself.I have started Exante today and am looking forward to sharring my weight lose progress with you all.I shall try and keep you all updated as offen as possible and look forward to hearing about other people progress and experiences whilst on this journey.Dont know what really else to write but thanks for all listening:)

The first few days are the toughest and you need to take it easy and be sure to drink your water throughout the day and have all of your Exante meals. You should be in ketosis in three to four days and this will help make the diet that bit easier to manage.

well day 1 out of the way yesterday and a very good day all in all.Day 2 now over with felt a little dizzy today but nothing i couldnt handle plus i think i have drunk around 4 litres of water have been so thursty all day but downside in and out of the loo all day as well lol.Roll on day 3 and cross fingers i will fell ok by the end of the day.Taking this first week steady then starting back at the gym next wk so bring it on whoop whoop.
 
Deffinately a good idea to start the gym a week later, the first week is a headrush! Glad you're finding it okay. Bet you can't wait until weigh in ! :D
 
Hi Sunshinecass im definately looking forward to my 1st weigh in cant wait.My thoughts exactly with regards to the gym i thought the 1st wk i might be a bit weak whilst my body adjusts, so defo not going to start the gym again until next week.
 
Well day 3 out the way and day 4 now over with and feel fine.I am now so looking forward to getting the week over with and getting on the scales for my 1st weigh in, i just need to stay focussed and positive and look forward to sheading the pounds over the next 13wks even if i dnt hit my target weight by that time i should just before xmas but we will see what each wks weigh in brings and hopefully with starting back at the gym next wk i should see more of a body transformation more than a weight transformation but as long as i loose between 2-3lbs a wk im happy with that.Anyways gyms thanks for reading and bring on day 5 whoop whoop.:)
 
Well its 3.02am on day 6 and really annoyed as went to bed at 10pm as i was really tired and now i have woken up full of beans lol so thought i would catch up on a few of your guys weight loss journeys and give you a quick update on mine.Day 5 out of the way and 2 days to go before weigh in but in honesty i do not feel any lighter and i have stuck to 100% TS so only my 1st weigh in will tell.I have been very unwell over the last couple of days not due to exante i might add but i have a virus/cold and i just cant shake it off so yesterday i bought some multi vitimans just to help boost me a little in the hope that i might be able to shake it off by the end of this wk as i am determined not to come off TS in mind 1st wk as this would put a big downer on the begginging of my weight loss journey so fingers crossed im hoping to feel better by sunday.Well thats my update done guys so going to do a bit of surfing now and then try and go back to sleep so chat soon :)
 
Aw that's crappy you have been poorly hope u feel better soon. Well done for keeping up with exante it will be worth it :) Once the first weeks over it does get easier and your almost there. I bet u will be surprised at ur weight loss Xx
 
Sdulake, when is weigh in for you? I am now on day 10 and like you I was desperate to weigh after the fisrt week. I lost 8lb and was chuffed but also a bit disappointed as I know of others that have lost alot more but after reading about other weight losses I am happy and I hope to lose another 6lb next week to make a stone in two weeks.
I have been regularly swimming and feel fine apart from the odd headache and a bit of insomnia. Really important to drink loads of water and I feel so much better for it, skin looks great too.
Only good thngs can come from this and I hope that 8 weeks on exante (before an all inclusive holiday in October - must behave!) will give me the boost and bigger weight loss than I could have expected perhaps on other diets in the amount of time.

Hi Peewee weigh in day for me is on Monday but this all depends if i can get out to boots as i prefer to use there scales as i would like to use the same scales each time.Im on day 6 now so only 2moz to go and will already be in my 2nd wk.Appart from feelin awful from this virus/cold i feel fine food wise and not at all hungry.With regards to drinking water that is all i drink anyway as i dont like tea or coffee and not to keen on fizzy drinks or squash , the only other thing i normally drink in fresh juice which i have cut out all together at the mo oh and also green tea but not really felt like drinking this as im a water fan.We are not that different in our weight goals and i have 13wks of exante TS so i will track your progress and help give support if needed and hope you can do the same, after all we are al here to achieve the same :)

Cheerz peewee just about to write up diary for day 7 cant believe a whole wk has just flown past, i av still got this blasted virus/cold so a trip 2 the docs i think as i need some antibiotics to help get rid of it but so looking forward to my 1st weigh in :)
 
Well what can i say a whole wk has just flown by and as you can see from my previous post in response to peewee yes i still have this blasted virus/cold which is so annoying as its the only thing that has got me down, but more annoyed as i can not start back at the gym starting wk 2 as planned as i still feel weak from this virus so looks like i will have to go to the docs and get some antibiotics to help get rid of it which possibly means not starting the gym until wk3.The only reason i wish to start back at the gym is i know a vlcd not only sheds fat but also muscle so i need to get back there so i can do losts of cardio and also tonning with weights which will help, also going to the gym last time made me shed more inches and although lossing weight is a big plus for me it is more important that my bmi and waist size decreases so only time will tell.So i now look ahead to wk 2 and feel really positive with towards my weight lose journey as now im in ketosis i cant go wrong.It has been playing on my mind all wk what to do about the add a meal wk weather to do it evey 4,8 or 12th week and seeing that i am doing ts for 13wks i have decided to wait until wk 12 and then do a AAMW then continue on with TS for a further 3wks which will bring me upto xmas wk which means i can have a re-feed at xmas and then evaluate the situation with my weight then, but cross fingers all goes well i should not need to continue with Ts after xmas just maintain but we will see what happens between now and then.Right im off to have a nice shower now then get myself to bed already for my weigh day and the start of wk 2 2moz so thanks to evey1 for all there support this wk and for reading my diary i will as i have done this wk keep you all posted with regards to my progress, oh and if any1 needs any support or has any questions i might be able to answer plz do not hesitate to post it here.Thanks guys :)
 
Well the day finally arrived thats right weigh in day and i have lost 6lbs :) im not all all disapointed ok yes i would have liked a little more off, but considering i have had this virus/cold and have stayed 100%TS and not caved in on my 1st wk i am really proud of myself and things can only get better here on in.My mind set is as long as im lossing weight i must be doing something right.I also feel a little bit better in myself today and have resisted going to the doctors just yet and hopefully by midweek all being well i should be able to start back at the gym :) so fingers crossed guys.As always thanks for reading guys. steve
 
Hi Kirsty thank you so much i am so pleased with the first wks results that i went to town earlier and bought a bottle of coke zero and treated myself to a glass as a well done treat lol.Going by your start date we look as though we both started at the same time so that is good and well done on your 1st wks lose its fab.I will certainly be keeping a track on your progress and any help, advice or support you need im here to help.Thanks for reading steve :)
 
Well done Steve that is fab! I have just cracked open my coke zero to celebrate with you :p
