    Confessions of a Scale Junkie

    I have no idea of what to write here so I'm going to use this diary as a way of holding myself to account, keeping myself from cheating etc. I started Exante yesterday. Misbehaved and weighed myself this morning, just in case! 2lbs down so have had motivation all over the place all day! It's just as well really as I was somewhat unsure after having one of the bars yesterday. I'd heard how people thought it to be so yummy so I was looking forward to it. I wasn't impressed. Had a different bar today and it was so much better than the other. I haven't felt particularly bad, I'm guessing that is to come The only odd thing is that the roof of my mouth feels really smooth! Anyone else start around the same time?

    I'm looking forward to seeing good results at the end of the week (must stay off the scale!)

    Thanks! How long have you been doing Exante? What were/are your favourite products? Sorry for the questions! I was ordering based on what I normally like and, having just had the shepherds pie, I'm not sure it was a wise decision.

    Started on January 1st and have been TS all the way - and have lost 24lbs

    I like all of the products - apart from banana shakes, I don't do bananas

    I admit some of the soups take a bit of getting used to, but they grow on you

    Read through some of the diaries here - very inspirational

    Theres a lot of genuine support here - use it, it really helps

    Day 3 and I have a headache. It's not too bad (haven't reached for the paracetamol yet) so I'll keep on chugging the water. I'm so much more thirsty than I was yesterday. I was somewhat concerned that I would feel a bit shaky this morning after two days of a vlcd so I took a choc orange bar up to bed with me last night and had it this morning about an hour before I got out of bed. I just think of it as breakfast in bed and it is the weekend!
    I'm going to try the porridge today. I ordered the tomato soup as well but have since heard that it is disgusting. Has anyone got any tips to make it more palatable, of indeed it is that gross.
    Oh, and I was completely unable to stay away from the scale this morning but also as 2.4lbs has snuck off in the night! YAY!

    Hi Becca and welcome. You're doing great so far. I'm a compulsive weigher too. I don't think it matters as long as you understand that your weight fluctuates and sometimes goes up a bit. The only product I absolutely can't stand is the mushroom risotto. You tend to acquire a taste for exante products.

    1lb down today making it 5.8lbs since thursday! As a treat for the first 5lbs I've ordered a pair of earrings that I've had my eye on for a while.
    Today I'm feeling a little shaky, achy and a bit nauseated. I'm hoping that this means that ketosis is on the way in. I'm glad it's Sunday so I don't have too much to do! I don't really feel hungry although my stomach was making some very odd noises last night. Thank goodness I was at home on my own.

    Lol. Glad I'm not the only one! We've been watching a film that has some really poignant, quiet sections and my stomach seems to wait for those bits!
    Has anyone tried the water flavours? I'm tempted to get the orange one as I really love orange flavoured things and I'm missing my morning smoothies that i used to have.
