Day 1 restart
Have managed to stay 100% today, glugged loads of water and constant toilet stops and already the headaches have started
Am planning an early night and hoping that sorts me out.
Oh well here's to day 2! Xx
Headache has still lingered but not as bad, still glugging and have had shake for breakfast and bar for lunch.
Now looking forward to tea in an hour or so but can't go bed till bout 11.30 when hubby gets up for work so gotta keep myself busy to avoid boredom eating! Xx

Just started today....
Just shakes and water, it's amazing how i've got used to so much carbs over the last couple years.
This is going to be hard but need to stay strong, I got 45 pounds to lose.
I know how you feel, I have about 70lbs to loose, feels like it's never going to go
Try not to be disheartened.
I started with 60lbs to lose to just get to a BMI of 25 (Normal) and so far I have lost 22lbs and so I only have 38lbs to go.
The best thing to make it less daunting by splitting it into smaller goals. E.g. To go to a new BMI category. That's my first goal and that means I've got 13lbs to go til I'm overweight and not obese. Still have a long way to go but by setting small goals and then meeting them spurs me on.

I think I'm a day behind you. Good luck. Just remember that the first few days are the hardest with physical pains….then its just willpower.
You are so right it really is best to set yourself smaller manageable goals.
Funny thing is I don't really have a goal anymore. I think I have been on and off meal replacements for so long now am not sure where I amid that makes sense. Problem I have is I use this to get to goals when there is something planned like a wedding or a holiday. It all kind of falls apart afterwards though as I stupidly don't plan the after meal replacements part.
Anyway shall see how I do this time.
Day 5 in the bag but strangely (and have only just realised this) no metallic mouth from ketosis??
I normally always get this after a day or so but this time nothing!
Also this time I haven't weighed daily. Am trying to avoid and weigh weekly instead and am looking forward to Mondays weigh in already.
I am having an op on 26 though and am not sure how safe/wise it is to be doing exante pre or after op???

What type of operation are you having slimwannabe? I think it depends on what you're having done on whether you would have to postpone restarting Exante afterwards.
Well done on making 100% so far, and maybe you're used to the metallic taste so you haven't really noticed it? Like you said, been 100% so no way not going to have gone into ketosis.

I have a hiatus hernia, it's kind of up and and under an old scar tissue from gall bladder removal 13 yrs ago.

Problem I have is food really is an all or nothing for me. Plus if I am home and bored food really could become a problem hence why I'd rather continue on shake if possible.
Only time I'd really have to eat is if on painkillers I suppose?? Xx
So managed a week phew! 1st wi and have lost 6lbs. Was hoping for more after seeing everyone else's 1st losses but then again as I'm on phone app I can't see others stats and know the starting weight does make a difference. So 6lbs loss bringing me to 12.1.4. Would really like to get back to pre holiday weight of 11.8 if poss but would mean another 7lbs before the 26 nov and for me this is not doable as I tend to slow right down after 1st week. Shall see what I can lose in 9 days! Xx
