    Couch 2 5K challenge - buddies welcomed!

    Hey everyone,

    So I'm thinking of starting Couch 2 5K tomorrow - need to get more active, and love the idea of a staged work up to 5k. I'm so unfit just now that I need to do something.

    Anyone fancy joining me and starting this together?

    Also, does anyone know of a decent android couch 2 5k app? I think having an app talking me through the progress as I go would really help

    Good luck I really enjoy running now still on week 3 due to a few set backs but cant belivev I can now run 3 minutes when I could not even run 30 seconds at the start.

    Getting there have lots done but loving every minute of it. Dress coming in mid march so want to tone as much as possible by then. Did c25k before and it works but that was a yr ago. Gonna start afresh now. I use the run double app.

    Always good to know it works, too I really want to be a runner - I see people out running and it looks great! Also got some kettlebells today so I hope to get fitter and toned reasonably quickly.

    Sounds like you've got a great goal to work towards Weddings are such a great reason to get fitter - my mum's getting remarried next year and I'm determined not to be the fat bridesmaid!
