Dukan attack + SW

Hi, hoping this is the right place to post.

So, I'm going to start getting this weight off. I'm at the heaviest I've ever been and put on nearly 3 stone since starting uni and not happy.

What I'm thinking of doing is doing 7-10 days on Dukan attack phase as a kick start, then going on to Slimming World extra easy plan. I don't feel like I could maintain Dukan for long periods of time but I have done SW in the past and lost nearly 3 stone on it. I can't afford to go to sessions though so will just be doing it myself. Hoping on using this place and my partner to help motivate me. I'm also thinking of doing dukan attack for time when I feel I'm hitting a wall or a lull in weight loss as a further kick

Has anyone done anything like this. Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks :)

Hi. Sorry you haven't had a reply, the boards are deathly quiet at this time if year, I've never seen them so slow! Your question will get answered more as soon as people stop bloody eating and drinking!

I don't know anything about SW as I've never really understood it but I think dukan attack as a kick start would be a really good idea. I think it would be a good start to any sensible healthy eating plan and certainly give you a boost.

Dukan attack is often used by those on cruise or conso to get a few unwanted lbs off when they've over indulged.

A long as you have some scales and the motivation to do this in your own you don't need a club! I started off on Cambridge and hated that I had to pay extra for 'support.' My husband, friends and weight loss each week was plenty to spur me on.

I wish you the very best of luck, don't give up on minimins, all the help, advice, recipes and support you could wish for is on here (it'll be chocka from 1.1.13)

My advice to you is start planning/buying in some dukan attack meals/snacks to get you going. (Buy minute steak/chicken/fish in bulk, separate and freeze!)

Kellmo x x

Sorry,

Also, if you re-post this on the Dukan thread more duakneers will see it, I just stumbled across this post as I was snooping!
