Hi, I'm Sammii, and I need to lose weight.
Haha, I thought I should start off with the reason I'm on here
I was fit and healthy up until 2008 when I had a pretty bad accident which made walking difficult and exercise out of the question. Since my metabolism is very slow, even eating a 1,500 calorie a day diet I put on weight, and once I had put on 2 stone I pretty much gave up trying to control my weight at all.
I've been given the incentive to lose the weight because,
a) I've finally beginning to regain muscle strength (!!) so I can start working out properly again and
b) I begin University in October
So I'm going to be on a low calorie/high exercise diet until I reach 8 stone again
The next few months are going to be... interesting to say the least. It'll be worth it in the end though![]()
