Newbie here :)
Hi everyone! I'm starting my first diet after finally admitting to myself that I am overweight and need to do something about it! So as of tomorrow I'm starting the biggest loser diet! So fingers crossed it works as long as I stick to it. If anyone could share some tips or encouragement that would be very much appreciated
thanks for reading

Hiya! Thanks for the reply
I've Finished day one of the biggest loser diet and there was a few times in the day where I have felt a few hunger pangs but I've silenced them with water lol I'm determined to stick at it as I have a lot to lose! (5 & 1/2 stone) the shakes themselves aren't too bad in all honesty, the chocolate one was slightly cardboard tasting, and a bit bitty but the banana one was yummy! I had a shake for brekkie and two grapes, a shake for lunch, for dinner I ate pitta bread with tuna and cucumber and snacks was slim fast choc bar and slim fast crisps. So low intake I think esp compared to the amount of rubbish I put past my lips on a daily basis! Lol!

Do diet pills work? I've bough adios max, and until I'm a few weeks into it I don't know if they work or if its the diet itself? Had the spring veg soup today and the first part was ok the second part was rank so I threw it and had half a slice of whole meal bread instead. I've also bought slimming strips for your tongue. Wonder if they work :/ only time will tell lol good luck to you all and your chosen plans
on about a month I'm hoping I'll see a difference and post some pics

I have tried loads of different diet pills some with good results some not ,I now take skinny fiber by skinny body care these are great very gentle on the body but ive had amazing results.I still eat normal food just less of it and they have a host of health boosting properties .They are quite expensive at about £46 a month but less than i would pay for diet food and gym passes lol.

Really? :0 worth it though because you've lost so much weight massive well done
just stepped on the scales I couldn't resist as I was feeling starving today and bought a baguette for lunch (grrrrr) instead of having my shake (going to have it for dinner instead) I thought is it worth being starving and feeling faint?! So weighed myself Monday I was 17st 8bl and today I am 17st 1lb, so -7lb in three days!! I'm guessing that's water weight, but still 7lb is a big loss in three days (maybe too much) I just hope it stays off! Bought a exercise bike today so I'll be doing half hour tonight to make up for the baguette! Knew I wouldn't last long! Old habits die hard! But still no takeaways/chocs/sweets so I can't be too hard on myself..... X

how is your weight loss journey going? X

Well I have known I'm grossly overweight for many years, I do a very physical job and frankly it's been getting harder and harder to do it! so I was turning the pages of my local paper and saw that some local guy had lost 12st or something incredible, and thought well i'm not that overweight and if he can do it why not me, so i joined my local SW and the first week lost 5lbs the second week lost 6lbs and the third I lost 4lbs so i'm really happy with the way thing are going at the moment, people at work are congratulating me and noticing that I have lost a few pounds and thats always a great booster for the confidence. Good luck with your's

That sounds quite similar to myself, my job can be physically demanding, lifting people and on my feet all day and I've noticed my knees keep giving out, and my doctor said its weight related, so here I am! Congrats on your weight loss that's great loss so far before you know it you'll be at your target weight
how long are you giving yourself to do it? Or is there no time scale x
