Loss every week?

I've never lost every week on any diet.. I even gained weight once on exante... but, that's just what my body does, it all averages out so I take the long term view. So far on JUDDD I've lost 6lbs in just over 2 weeks but I gained 7lbs to start with so you could say I've lost 13lbs..... clearly that's water gain and loss due to low carbing previously so I don't take too much notice of short term fluctuations any more. Keeps me happy anyway:Dxx

And I've lost 6lb in about 2.5 months so no but I don't care because I love it :)

That's so good to hear.. My loss is very slow too but getting so used to alternate days, I couldn't ever imagine eating all day every day again. Surely less
Calories over a week will always eventually result in loss?

I've been doing this since the beginning of August and have lost 12lbs. Not a great deal, you may think, but it's been steady and I've had a number of periods when I've had little or no fasting days and I have still lost weight - over the long term.

I say to everyone starting this way of eating that you just have to look at long term trends and not be swayed by daily or even weekly weights. The way our bodies lose weight is complex and particularly so with Intermittent Fasting.

Although weight loss is slow, I feel I have finally found a way I can eat for ever and a manageable way of eating for maintenance - when I get there!

Good luck!

Last week was my full first week I lost 5lbs but I must point out I've already lost over 3 stone with slim and save so this is me just trying to lose the last 2 stone easily :)

Since starting judd just over a month ago I have lost 13lbs...weight to be updated tomorrow night. I am very strict but I enjoy it and could happily do this diet for the rest of my life. I have suffered with m.e. For about a decade now and this past month I have noticed myself in s lot better mental health state with a lot more energy...something I have not had in a long time! I'm confident in the health benefits of this diet.

Following your guidelines you should lose around 2pm a week. I don't eat anywhere near the amount of calories I'm allowed and have averaged over 3lbs!

I've had 4 weeks of gains over 15 weeks but still managed to lose 29.8lbs. Sometimes you've just gotta be patient when the scales aren't working out. The nsvs in this diet far outweigh (lol) any blips on the scales.. Just gotta have patience and trust your body x

I've lost nearly every week since August except the week I had visitors & was on holiday and then I had a small gain, I've lost 17lbs 7 couldn't be happier!!

I started Oct 4 and I've lost 3, 3.4, 2.8, 3.2 a week since then. I've stayed pretty close to the calories from Dr.J's website. I have no idea why its coming off that fast. I love this diet and it loves me back!
A lot of people get NSV's, dropping in inches faster than the weight loss. The only thing to do is try it and see how it works for you personally, you'll love it :D

I have weighed myself 4 times since starting at the beginning of October (about every 8 days) and I did lose every time. I skipped weigh in 5 though so can't say whether that would have been a loss or not.

I have to remind myself not to expect to see a loss every week (although I know it can be hard when we get so focused on what the scales say) because JUDDD can make them bounce a lot. I often read peoples daily weigh ins on here and on another site and that's proof that our weight really can bounce around a lot. This is the only diet I've managed not to have mid weak sneaky weigh ins because of seeing how the scales can bounce.

I also take my measurements and think thats another way to see how well we're doing. I try to take mine once per month to compare.
