    Help! First day!

    Hey guys!

    I'm in need for some real help! Starting lipotrim tomorrow and I'm so nervous!. Any advice to help deal with the first day?!

    Hey Mell

    Day 1 is going to be tough so drink lots of water and stay stong. You'll probably start feeling really cold over the next few days, which is common. Keep coming back here and let us know how you're getting on.

    Take each day at a time, keep yourself busy and it should fly by! I ahve found myself at day 5 already. It is hard work but its so worth it, and in the grand scheme of things, such a fast weight loss!

    Hey Mell I started today. I got rather excited about getting to the chemist for the first weigh in because I'd had it in my mind that this was my D-Day and then I could have proper goals.

    As luck would have it at work we had a buffet lunch meeting and so NOT dipping into it felt great. I even had to cut the sandwiches in half (groan) and although tempted this evening I feel good that I've gotten through the first day.

    I'm now about to have another shake (I call them my 'fat medicine) and then relax in the bath with a book and xmas smellies! Oh joy.

    Having done this a couple of years ago I do know what to expect so like mentioned, am getting ready to turn the heating up, feeling like I have the onset of the flu, dreaming about eating meals (but remembering the relief when waking up and realising I haven't had a roast dinner!). Got enough bottles of water lined up for journeys to and from work.

    So, Mell, the first day will come and go - it's the next few days that you do need that extra resolve. If you feeling like buckling drink some warm water to stave off the hunger pangs, once in ketosis you'll not feel hungry.

    Hey!

    Thanks for all the support. I am going to admit I chickened out of my first day and postponed it but this morning I got up and was straight on it. I must it wasn't as bad as I thought. All the support you have all given me had help me prepare myself and now I'm looking forward to embark on this crazy journey !

    This is my first day too. Im looking forward to waking up tomorrow knowing I can tick one day off my calendar (I know it sounds pathetic but its the only thing thats getting me through! Lol) after that I am looking forward to day three, hopefully I will hit ketosis and then I can wave good bye to week one! . I keep having to remind myself its not that I CANT eat its that I chose not too! X

    That's exactly how I am. It's going to be amazing when we reach our goal and I've come to understand that everything we are craving doesn't make us happy. We dont crave food we just have really bad habit then deffo aren't good for us! It's all in our hands now.

    Thanks merkif! Yeah I eat out of boredom or stress... Or shall I say I DID eat out or boredom and stress. Plus im a huge junky - I just love KFC, McD's, pizza, Chinese... You get the jist lol. I'm hoping I can reset my pallet so the good stuff doesn't taste as bland. Oh and am I the only person who actually likes the taste of the milkshakes as they are? Lol x

    I deffo don't like the shakes but I appreciate them LOL! I've already lost 6 pounds and im feeling awesome ! Xx

    Yeah, I know. I just think my body is in shock from going from an absolutley filthy diet to this! Lol. I wish I was further along. Day three is killing me.... When does it get better!? Im not sure if im in ketosis or not x

    Im on day three I am also a junkie.. worked in kfc for 6 years so was a daily thing.. ive been ok to be fair but I can deal with my usual unhealthy junk.. actually in a wierd way an enjoying being around food.. but im craving for 3 days lean ham of all things I dont even really bother with ham. I also unsure about ketosis x

    I had the ham thing a couple of days ago (on day five now). So think that is fairly normal - just wait till you have dreams about food and wake up miffed that you've eaten a roast dinner. Then realise it's a dream and the relief is marvellous!!

    Getting a bad taste in your mouth is a sure indication of being in ketosis, mine hit definitely on day four. I do find keto test sticks help confirm though.

    The ketostix are a bit pricey at nearly £6 and really aren't necessary. Think it is all to do with personal preference. I don't weigh myself at all but in the mornings just like to do something to feel that I am checking up on myself. It helps me focus.
