Hello,
I have been using minimins for a while & finding the support so helpful. I have been overweight my whole life at my heaviest I was 22st 5lb at my last weigh in I was 21st 6lb. So I have lost 13lb & I have around 140lb to lose. I have been struggling but I read something today that hit home so much I am now so determined.
"She wasn't where she had been. She wasn't where she was going...but she was on her way. And on her way she enjoyed food that wasn't fast, friendships that held, hearts glowing, hearts breaking, smiles that caught tears, paths trudged and alleys skipped. And on her way she no longer looked for the answers, but held close the two things she knew for sure. One, if a day carried strength in the morning, peace in the evening, and a little joy in between, it was a good one...and two, you can live completely without complete understanding." ~ Jodi Hills
I wanted to start this thread to keep myself motivated & to get to know people I don't have a lot of support where family is concerned but that's ok I find it in other places. I am calorie counting & using orlistat that's been prescribed by my doctor. I currently have high blood pressure & shouldn't be exercising at all but I do go for a walk maybe once a week it's a start. I have been of work for 3 months & will be off for another 4 weeks due to being unable to get my blood pressure under control. Any hints & tips to keep me busy I would love. Any tips on snacks or lunches would also be great as I really struggle with spicing it up.
Thanks to everyone for keeping me strong as I would've gave up by now .
