Can anyone remember their favourite childhood movie?
I had a favourite but I forgot the name and now I am sadI would love for a little reminder of some of the movies that came out during everyone's childhood.

'When choosing between two evils, I always pick the one I haven't tried.......Mae West.
I have too many Childhood Favourites:
The Sandlot, Willow, Flight of the Navigator, Teen Wolf, Stand By Me, The Goonies, The Neverending Story, Short Circuit 2, Big, The Mighty Ducks (1-3), Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Gremlins, Mrs. Doubtfire, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Drop Dead Fred, Clueless, Homeward Bound, and more.
Maybe your favourite is in there somewhere.
But my favourite has to be The Sandlot. I had a huge crush on Mike Vitar who played Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez. I would recommend it to everyone and i think it might even be on YouTube.

When someone says: "You can't do that!"
What they really mean is: "I can't do that."
The Only People Who Fail Are Those Who Don't Try!!!!
“The only real failure in life is the failure to try.”
I suppose it depends on what age you are talking about.
I have an older brother, so was in to horror movies way before I should have been. Some of the highlights (roughly in release order) were:
Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
Halloween
Amityville Horror
The Fog
Friday 13th
Scanners
American Werewolf in London
Evil Dead
The Thing
Nightmare on Elm Street
Day of the Dead
Re-Animator

Matilda! The Goonies, Big, Mrs Doubtfire, Grease (childhood movie? YES!), ermmm...

Legend (dir. Ridley Scott) was my favourite childhood movie...so much so that I am still looking to buy the US version with the Tangerine Dream soundtrack and original run time (I believe the European version is shorter). I love 80's/90's movies too, so I must of course also add anything by John Hughes, Tim Burton and John Waters. Because they're awesome.![]()

My food diary - Reloaded...
GOALS:
#1. 459lbs
#2. 435lbs (10% gone)
#3. 399lbs (below 400, back to Oct. 2011 weight)
#4. 379lbs (original SW goal, lowest ever to date)
#5. 350lbs (1st major milestone, 51lbs away from the 200's)
The European release is longer than the US Theatrical Cut, but it is it edited differently.
This contains both the version you want and the Directors Cut:
Amazon.com: Legend (Ultimate Edition): Tom Cruise, Alice Playten, Billy Barty, Cork Hubbert, Peter O'Farrell, Annabelle Lanyon, Robert Picardo, Tina Martin, Ian Longmur, Mike Crane, Mike Edmonds, Ridley Scott: Movies & TV
I've had it for a few years and it seems quite scarce now, so I would get one while you still can.![]()
