    Curry ideas?

    Hello Everyone

I love my creamy curries, like Korma or red thai curry, but have not come across a nice tasty creamy curry that is very Low fat...

Has anyone got any ideas or recipes that they can share

    Donna

Ive been making a delicious curry recently, its low fat and low carbs

    For 1 portion
    1 skinless boneless chicken breast

either some frozen mixed veg, I have been using Tesco frozen grilled mediterranean veg, or some mushrooms and a few small tomatoes.

1 teaspoon curry powder of your choice. My particular favourite is Achar Gosht Masala by shaheen foods that i bought in an indian supermarket.

Half a tub (either 150grm or 170grm) of Total 0% fat greek yoghurt.

Cut up the chicken breast and place in a small shallow pan ( i use a small frying pan) with the veg, curry powder and a couple tablespoons hot water. Simmer gently until chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes. Boil away most of any residue liquid.

Take off the heat and stir in the yoghurt, and a sprinkle of salt to taste.

Total calories - no more than 300 and around 8 to 10 carbs depending on what veg you use.

This makes a very creamy spicy delicious curry. I just eat it as it is, without any rice as im low carbing.
