Question Clothes Size - How much weight had you to lose to drop a size?

I was watching you are what you eat last night and the two ladies both lost one and half stone each over the 8 weeks of the diet Gillian put them on.

One came from a size 20 down to a size 14!!!!!

So I thought we would do this thread to see how much weight it takes each of us to come down in clothes size.

I am 5' 4" tall and was 17st. 12lbs. and my tops were 30/32 and bottoms where size 24 trousers with elastic bit on the waists band for more comfort which did not fit me at one stage

I am now 13st. and wearing size 18 tops and size 18 trousers.

It would be interesting to build up a picture of clothes size/height/weight.

Thanks

I think they make the sizes up on that programme, those ladies were no where near a size 14. and they couldnt have dropped 3 sizes within a stone and a half. Totally unrealistic.
I drop a size approxiamately every 2 stone. Dont know if this will get faster or slower as the sizes get smaller.

Actually Happe you have just introduced a valid point about shoe size as my feet also got bigger with my size and are now shrinking

5' 9" is a good height, always wanted to be tall

Hi gina,

You carry your weight well, size 18 at 17st. 1lb.

Look you did not regain all of your weight back on and this is an achievement as it is so easy to do so.

Now your back doing something about it and I know what you mean about thinking about food all of the time, but it does go away.

Before I started my diet journey everything was about food, it had to be in the equation somewhere.

Focus on what it is you want for yourself for 2007 and see yourself doing these things and how you will be it does help.

Your health is your wealth.

Hi Cheryl,

I think this will help me and others who feel frustrated that they are not coming down a size with each stone...

It will be a good reference thread to help on those days you feel your getting nowhere

I am looking for starting shoe size now as well as my feet did get big as well.

Thanks

i did manage to get myself into a "normal" shop pair of boots last week instead of Evans boots
