    My Diary - I will not give up this time!!

    Hello everyone!!

    So I start my slim and save journey tomorrow, I'm off to boots in a few hours to weigh in properly but I know I'm around 18 stone at the moment!! I'm absolutely disgusted with the way I look and can't look in the mirror without wanting to cry, I normally try to avoid mirrors at all costs but on Saturday I'm going to buy myself a full length one to leave in my bedroom so when I feel like eating or feel like giving up I'm going to look in the mirror and I know then I'll be fine and will want to carry on!!

    its getting ridiculous now, for the last 20 years, we have all been going out my Nan's every New Year's Day for a big family dinner and I've never missed one, up until now, I couldn't actually bring myself to go and feel like everyone is staring and judging so I said I was sick and stayed at home all day!!

    i will never allow myself to miss another New Year's Day with my family.

    I have an amazing, very supportive other half who is always trying to make me feel good about myself and supports me in everything I do, we have a beautiful 3 year old daughter together and my goal date is October as she turns 4 on the 26th of October and I can't carry on being a fat mummy!!

    i have been on Cambridge, slim and save and weight watchers before so I know how horrible the feeling is when you realise that if you had stuck to the diet the first time you tried you will be at goal weight by now, it's a horrible feeling and I won't be letting myself feel it again!!

    my daughter starts nursery this Monday (6th) and it's about a 20 - 25 minute walk and I need to walk it 12 times a week!! I also have my wii fit which I love!! So I know I'll be getting lots of exercise witch I'm hoping will help!!

    I will be going to get weighed properly at boots some point today and will update my weight and things then, and then I will be getting weighed every Saturday at boots, so I have just over a week to go until my first weigh in.

    There are lots of restarts today so you're not alone. If you have a blip don't dwell on it, that's my biggest tip. You can get over one blip really quickly but a full on binge takes longer to get past so I know which I would rather do! Good luck, you can do it x

    So day 1 for me today and my first strawberry shake and my first glass of water is done!!
    went to boots yesterday and got weighed and i was 4lb lighter than I thought I would be, I'm still a disgusting 17 stone 10 but that's all Gana change!!

    feeling very excited about starting my diet today and very much looking forward to my first weigh in next Saturday!!

    Good luck Jodi. I started again yesterday after faffing about for months. I weighed in at 18 stones. Just think, youl never see 17-10 again. Few weeks, maybe even next week youl be in the 16s x

    How is it going? I started back yesterday after a Christmas break. I think you'll find that the regular exercise of walking to nursery will really help and it's not like you can avoid it! Before you know it it will feel less like a chore and you'll be skipping along - even one or two stone makes a difference. And you'll be finding excuses to look in the mirror soon
