Tips on Avoiding Crunchy Pasta

I had cheesy pasta with cauliflower last night and it was delicious, I know it's a pain but I always just ignore the pack and just simmer mine in a pot so it comes out lovely and soft, because no amount of microwaving seems to get the pasta soft :( x

I'm the same my pot is tiny with a little spout on the edge I think it's actually made for making sauce in, i got it in a pot set years ago but it's perfect for the packs.

I put my pack in and put in loads of boiling water and just put it on to simmer and basically leave it until all the water is absorbed and the pasta is lovely and soft, ok the pasta is quite sparse so it's more of a cheese sauce with pasta bits rather than cheesy pasta but over cauliflower it's lovely with a little dash of salt and pepper :).

It's actually becoming one of my fav's x

i do mine in the micro and its soft. i just mix the pack with the water and leave it for about 10 mins before microwaving it and its absolutely perfect :) xxx

I tried that before but it still didn't get it as soft as in my little pot but maybe it's just my microwave x

OMG that looks amazing off to make that NOW! :D my final pack of the day.

I always turn my miocrowave power level down to half but you may need to put it in for a minute longer than stated on the packet. x
