Hi everyone thank you for reading my ramblings.

A bit about me:

In 2012 I began slimming world at home, since then I now have a fiancé and a beautiful 10 week old baby girl, so the weight has crept on. I now weigh 1/2 stone more than I did when I last started. So this years mission is to beat the flab!

I now will be going to a SW class on a Saturday morning. Yesterday was my first class, I was so nervous, but everyone was lovely and 15 of us started the same time as me. So that's good, plus my mum and nanna go to that class.

For a couple of weeks I have been reading up on lots of recipes and I have done a big food shop with lots of ingredients. So my house is SW friendly; well that's if I don't look at the cupboard with all the Xmas chocolate. At the moment I am under the illusion that the chocolate fairy has taken it all away.....I wish....actually if I was wishing I would wish that chocolate and Strawberry and Lime Kopparberg was syn free. I can dream....

I will be making a note of all that I east and drink and any exercise I do.

Speaking of exercise I will be attempting classes such as spin class on Wednesday....what was I thinking of saying yes. If I am not posting on Thursday, I died and I am eating chocolate and drinking Kopparberg...Yummy...

Day 1:
Extra Easy

HEX:
HEXA: 30g of Cheddar
HEXB: WM Bread (400g)

Breakfast:
WM Toast.
CBINB Light
(1 Syn)
Vanilla Muller Light

Lunch:
3 Egg Omelette (Made with milk left over)
Mushrooms
Tomatoes.
Lean Ham.

Dinner:
Chicken breast topped with BBQ Sauce
(1 Syn)
With Mushrooms, red onion, tomato, red pepper bacon and Red chilli. With 30g of Cheddar.
Served with a JP, and Salad of: Tom, Cucumber, Spring Onion, Red onion, Lettuce.
CBINB Light:
(1 Syn)
EL Mayo (1 Syn)

Drinks:
2 x Cup of Tea
3 x Pint of NAS Apple and Blackcurrant Cordial.
2 x Glass of Diet Pepsi.

Syns:

100ml Semi Skimmed Milk: 2.5 Syns
BBQ Sauce: 1 Syn
EL Mayo: 1 Syn.

TOTAL SYNS: 6.5/15

Morning,

Day one is down and out, really enjoyed it, and I didn't even miss/want chocolate when others were eating it. :) Wooo.

Today me and the little monster are going to go for a walk in to town and get some shopping, then maybe a walk around the park a couple of times. I will update as I go along. :)


Day 2: Extra Easy

HEX:
HEXA: Cheese
HEXB: Mint Hifi

Breakfast:
Bacon, Scrambled Egg, Beans and Mushrooms.

Lunch:

JP with Chilli. (2 Syns) Mushrooms, onion, backed beans and Chilli.
CBINB Light (1 Syn)
Cheese
Salad: Toms, red onion, spring onion, let, cucumber.

Snack:
Mint Hifi

Dinner:

Chicken Chassure (3 Syns) with musrooms, onion and carrot. With Rice

Drinks:
2 x Cup of Tea.
2 x pint of NAS squash

Syns:
Milk: 2.5 Syns
Left over Colmans Chilli pack: 2 syns
1/2 Colmans Chicken Chas pack: 3 Syns
CBINB Light: 1 Syn

Total Syns:

Well done on staying away from those chocs, that's always the problem straight after xmas isn't it?

I've just started again and am on my proper day 1 today. Hoping to stick at it this time as I've re-started about 4 times in the last 2 years!!

Meals are looking good so far, well done on using your syns within your meals. I keep struggling to use them and end up going days syn-free and that's not good because they're in the plan for a reason but I always worry if I let myself have some syns I wont be able to stop and I'll end up seeking out all the chocolate within a 5 mile radius and consuming it. xx

Always, especially when I got 6 chocolate oranges, and other faves. Oh well I will have to have a little bit, and enjoy it mice and slowly lol, so then its within syns.

Good luck, we can do it. I was going to start when I found out I was pregnant, then thought stuff it, I am going with out Kopperberg, and Dippy eggs etc, I will enjoy my self lol.

How your day been? Do you have a diary?

Thank you. I have thought trying to use them in meals, it will stop me going for the chocolate as I won't have enough syns left over. Im going to start cooking meals that don't have many syns. It's just been so hectic so ive got for the colmans packs lol.

I struggle to have little bits of choc I'd want to eat the lot. My Xmas chocs are staying firmly wrapped until I truly cave. We've got about 6 different boxes but the dates are pretty good - June and July, so I don't feel under any pressure to eat them quite yet!

You're really good starting now to be honest, my daughter is 2 and I've re-started about 4 times since she was born without much success! I'm pretty determined this time otherwise it's never going to happen! I just didn't have enough will power or organisation before now!

I do have a diary I started yesterday, helps me keep track! Hope you're having a fab day!xx
 
Where has today and yesterday gone. I swear I have only blinked lol.

Yesterday was hetic. I had to go to Asda to buy some more chicken, as the chicken I got smelt off. Went to pay at the self serve, asked for £10 cash back. Went home, and then realised I hadn't picked up my money. Luckily, the till lady saw it there, so when I went back i was able to get my money. So that's good. :)

Today, has been a right one. lol. Certain company needs a punch. lol

Anyway, ended up going out for lunch to see some family members, so they could meet Lilly. was really good and had steak without chips. :drool: they looked so good.

Anyway its feet up tonight, he's going to cook dinner so i can catch up on here. Hope you have all had a good day. :)

Day 3: Extra Easy

HEXA: Milk
HEXB: WM Bread (400g loaf)

Breakfast:
2 slices of WM toast.
CBINB Light. (1 Syn)
Toffee Muller Light.

Lunch:
Steak with JP and Salad.
I'm going to say 10 syns, for any oil and Dressing used. There wasn't much but its just on the safe side.

Dinner:
Fish pie: cod and salmon. With peas, carrots, onion and mushrooms.
Made with Colman's Parsley Sauce. Its 3 syns per pack so that's 0.75 per portion, with milk from HEXA.

Drinks:
3x teas
1 x pint of NAS squash. (Struggle to drink water)
1 x pint of diet pepsi.

Syns:
CBINB Light: 1 Syn
Lunch: 10 Syn
Colmans Parsely sauch: 0.75

Total Syns: 11.5/15

i would say day 3 at 100% buts its still early lol.

I do normally, but i'm thinking if I try and have a little bit, every so often I wont miss it....well much lol. Those mint Hifi's are nice though. I've never had them before, as I never did slimming world by going to a class. They gave me a little chocolate fix. :)

I did the same I checked the dates, mine are good to November. I can guarantee they won't last that long though lol. Thank you, I wanted to try now before I go back to work, so then I will be in the middle of it. I've printed lots of receipes off, just havn't had time to make them.

I'll come and have a look at yours. Same here, it helped me last time too. You too. x
 
Good idea starting now, I wish I had started while I was on maternity leave, trouble is I was embracing my love of baking and cooking naughty stuff then ;-) really struggle for time now I'm in work as I don't get home til 6 in the week then have to get my daughter to bed so doesn't leave much time.
I'm trying to prepare as much as possible and batch cook!

Well done on resisting the chips that's super good, especially if there are people around you eating them. Another fab day!!
 
hey hun good luck with your journey and spin!! :p when I 1st did spin I thought I was going to throw up!! it's is now my faverote class!! I did 2 hours of spin on Monday!! am also doing spin on Wednesday ;)

I survived!!! I really enjoyed it. It was bloody hard but good. I think I will need to avoid the stairs at all costs. xx
 
Hi, another manic day today only just getting chance to do my food diary. I survived spin! Yay! There was a man who I swear had a motorised one, as he was going like the clappers. Defiantly want to go again. :) My butt is sooooo going to hurt. Good food day today, just about to make dinner, late I know, but I haven't long been in and I am starving! Hope everyone has had a good day. :)

Day 4:
Extra Easy

Breakfast:
Pouched eggs on WM Toast.
CBINB Light. (1 Syn)

Lunch:
Chicken Chas. Carrots, onions and Mushrooms with rice. (3 Syns)

Snack:
Tom mug shot
Vanilla Muller light.

Dinner:

Its a kind of throw it all in pan dinner lol. having pasta with philli light. With Chicken, Bacon, mushrooms, peppers, toms, onions, chilli garlic.
WW Petti Pain (5 Syns)
CBINB Light (1 Syn) and garlic. HM garlic bread. I was going to have this as my HXB, but really wanted pouched egg on toast.


Drinks:
2 x Cup of Tea.
2 x litre of water (I was thirsty after spin....well nearly dying lol)

Syns:
Milk: 2.5 Syns
1/2 Colmans Chicken Chas pack: 3 Syns
CBINB Light: 2 Syn
WW Petti Pain: 5 Syn
