    From Big Bum to Glam Mum (with food diary)

    Hi guys,

    I hope that you will join me for my journey through the ups & downs as I try to reach, & most importantly to me maintain my goal weight. I started following SW from home last week & lost 7lbs in my first week bringing me to 19st 13. This is my second time following SW & it worked for me last time but I'm ashamed to say a combination of a hectic lifestyle running my 3 girls to dance class & starting up my own business took over & all those times where I would just grab something quick just this once became too regular an occurrence. So here I am back to square one & hoping I have learnt from my mistakes last time. My life isnt any less hectic but I know how much better I felt when I was slimmer than what I do now.

    As its been a while since I followed SW I'm still finding my feet as far as what to eat is concerned so I have tried to stick with what I know is syn free & saving a few syns for the evening. I decided to completely cut out chocolate for the time being at least so avoid any temptation which so far so good I havent craved any so have resisted temptation. How long that lasts might be another thing though!!! My new discoveries though have been skinny cappuccino mullerlights..... please tell me they are syn free or at least very low!! I have been having 1 after my evening meal as pudding. I'm going to have to start hiding them from the girls though coz they have started pinching them. My 2nd discovery is lemon drizzle alpen lights..... I love anything lemony so these are just pure heaven!!!

    Anyway I will check in again later.. I'm hoping if I write it all down it will keep me on the straight & narrow but if anyone has any tips or advice or just a general kick up the backside please feel free to add them

    Thank you hun I really appreciate that. Its around 3 ish years since I followed SW so am still a bit rusty trying to get back in the way of it & I'm hoping not too much has changed but hopefully you guys will help keep me on track & give me the kicks up the backside when needed. I have just done my weekly shop online so have tried my best to add variety. When I get up in the morning I usually have a cup of warm water with a teaspoon of lemon juice in it. I dont syn it & am not really sure if I should but figure even if its synned it wont put me over each day (now someone is going to tell me that I should!!! lol) Then for breakfast I usually have berries & a heaped spoonful of 0% total greek yogurt.... lunches are my downfall & really its either lean bacon medallions & scrambled eggs or a mugshot & a piece of fruit so not much variety there & then for tea for the following week I have planned sticky chicken & SW chips, gammon egg & SW chips, salmon & rice, Pasta & sauce with veg (quickie tea before heading out) & Spag bol... not a full week but I'm hoping to pick up ideas so I can plan a bit better next week. Has anyone any nice meal ideas that are worth trying?

    Eeeeeeeeekkkkkkk..... Club 10 seems sooo far away!!!!!!

    Ok so I remember last time Club 10 was my first goal so I thought that would be a good place to start this time too until I worked it out & realized that from my start weight to Club 10 I would have 29 (well 28.6 but hell whats another 0.4lbs when you have that much to lose ) lbs to lose..... On the positive I have lost 7 so 'just' (lol I say that lightly) 22lbs to go!!!!!!

    Well this morning I had a mullerlight for breakfast (wasnt feeling very hungry) & lunch was the normal bacon medallions & scrambled eggs... not overly excited but I like it & I'm full so I suppose that is the main thing..... just waiting for my shopping to be delivered (which hopefully will be before tea time!!!! lol) so I can have some fruit!!!! Arrrgghh I hate it when the cupboards are bare but at least I am filling them with the right things this time

    I also have the same breakfast of dry fried egg sandwich and wholemeal bread, it fills me so thats the main thing really. Some days though i cant face food some i have an apple.
    Sometimes routine is helpful just make sure you dont get bored.

    Thanks Sarahmun. You're right it fills me up so thats the main thing. Thankfully my shopping came albeit after tea time so I had pasta & sauce made using my HeA milk & water (no butter) Not very exciting but again it filled me up so I can't complain. Now that my shopping is here I can have a bit more variety in my dinners at least. I'm not really a breakfast person so fruit & yoghurt or even just yoghurt is really enough for me & for the meantime at least you cant beat a bit of bacon & eggs for lunch though I have some mugshots & the light supernoodles too incase I get bored. Managed to get just 6 of my new favourite skinny cappuccino mullerlights..... damn you asda for only allowing to buy 6 at a time coz they are on offer!!!!! You dont moan when I buy 12 every other week!!!!!! Anyway my syns for today have been used on 2 packets of snack a jacks.... I loovvee the salt & vinegar & my HeB was 2 lemon drizzle alpen lights. Just one question... how on earth do you all manage not to have a sneaky peek at the scales through the week????? I have been soooo tempted but have so far resisted.. but for how long I dont know!!!! lol

    I had a hectic day today but managed to stay on plan easy enough which I am really chuffed about. My day job is a cake decorator & as you can imagine cakes & diets are not the best combination..... thankfully for me though I love making cakes I don't like eating them!!! I still have resisted the temptation to have a peek at the scales but am absolutely bursting to look. I'm not expecting as big a loss as last week but I'm just hoping that I have lost something.... I do think I'll cry if I havent!!!! lol Anyway today went as follows

    Breakfast - strawberries raspberries spoonful of 0% greek yoghurt
    Lunch - good old bacon & scrambled eggs which was really yummy today!!!!!
    Tea - Birds eye salmon & rice

    Snacks - 2 bags of snack a jacks (only had 1 at the minute but I will have another one shortly) & 2 lemon drizzle alpen lights (heB)

    I havent had a HeA today & to be honest I'm a bit stuck on that one..... I dont like cheese & dont drink milk so would love some suggestions on this???

    Tomorrow I want to make a effort to drink more water as I dont think I have drunk enough today

    Well this morning I had a peek at the scales & they are showing 3lbs down so fingers crossed they stay that way & I know it sounds greedy but another lb or 2 would be nice!!!! lol

    Breakfast this morning was a bowl of chopped strawberries & raspberries & I had a large glass of water with it. Instead of my normal morning coffee I had a cup of green tea with lemon which was quite a refreshing change.... also nicer than the hot water with a squirt of lemon that I sometimes take. I'm going to try to be extra good now the rest of this week & hopefully the scales will be nice to be at weigh in

    Well yesterday I managed 2 cups of green tea with lemon & managed all 5 glasses of water which has helped me cut down on my diet coke intake which is exactly what I wanted.... fingers crossed the scales will love me for it too!!!!!

    Lunch yesterday was good old faithful bacon & scrambled eggs... yes I know I need some variety but I really really enjoy it & it kind of feel naughty too!!! lol Followed my a skinny cappuccino mullerlight light. & For tea I had gammon & SW chips which again was yummy... I was kind of rushed last night too but was pleased that I managed something quick & on plan that still tasted as nice. I had another mullerlight (same flavour... totally hooked!!!) for dessert.

    I had 2 alpen lights for my Heb2 bags of snack a jacks as a wee treat so 11 syns (I think) yesterday. Still no joy in using my HeA though

    Well I hopped onto the scales this morning & they showed an 8 lb loss!!!! I'm obviously delighted but am fully aware that once my body adjusts to the diet that the losses will slow down a bit & no doubt I will be on here moaning about not being able to get the scales moving

    I'm delighted that I have my 1 stone sticker (just another 7 1/2 to go ) & that I'm also over half way now in achieving my club 10 because it seemed soo far away at the beginning. I think if I remember right that it was when I got my club 10 that people started to actually 'notice' that I had lost weight so I am really looking forward to the first 'oh you have lost weight' comment!!! lol Im easily pleased!!!!

    I think me upping the water & cutting back on diet coke has helped & also I am going to carry on aiming to drink 2-3 cups of green tea a day.. I actually quite like it so its not exactly a chore!! lol

    Anyway I hope you all have great weekends & that the scales are kind to you

    I managed to stay on plan all weekend apart from last night when I had a chinese. I decided that I would have my meal, draw a line under the meal & then carry on the rest of the evening as normal.

    Anyway today went as follows.. breakfast I had a mullerlight (forgot to stock up on berries yesterday!!!) lunch was bacon & scrambled eggs & tea was sticky chicken with SW chips... I have been drinking water all day & am sitting here drinking my 2nd cup of green tea at the moment & I will probably have another one before bedtime. Anyway I will be a bit more organised tomorrow as I have just sent hubby to tescos to grab me more fruit

    Today has been pretty much the same as other days though I have been soo busy I havent really had much of a chance to think about food. Actually lunch time had been & gone before I even remembered to have lunch so late lunch it was. I feel my body is starting to adjust to SW & i have to admit I am keeping an eye on portion sizes too but I am not feeling as hungry as what I did when I started which is great news... I actually cant believe I am on my 3rd week though... the last time I followed SW the weeks did seem to drag for me. I know my losses have been good so far & I do know that its my body adjusting & these will slow down but they are really keeping me motivated which is good though I am nervous about how I will feel when they start to slow down & if I will still feel as motivated.

    Anyway today was as follows.. breakfast I had chopped apple & strawberries with 2 glasses of water & a cup of green tea. Lunch was bacon & eggs with 1 glass of water & at the moment I am actually sipping a sugar free red bull (which feels really naughty!!! ) Dinner this evening with be a pasta & sauce made with HeA milk & water alongside some veg as I'm heading out shortly & wont be back until a bit later. Treats later will e 2 alpen lights (heB) & 2 bags of snack a jacks (11syns) Anyway onwards & downwards... i have avoided a wee sneak at the scales so far this week but I might have a wee peek in the morning & hope that they are kind so far this week
