Hi everyone,

Im new to the forum and just wanted to ask for some help. I am doing the Extra easy plan and just had a question about the healthy extras. I have to pick one A and one B everyday. But could I split this so if I only had a 20g bowl of cereal in the morning could I have a piece of brown bread as well????

I never eat the whole bowl of cereal so was wondering could I have a piece of toast as well for breakfast without synning it?

Thanks everyone any help would be great

Our consultant says its not recommended but if you are going to do it just make absolutely certain that you are weighing everything correctly. I do it regularly - often have 1 hifi light and 1 slice hovis nimble bread.

I've no idea what SW say about this but I do it often, like already said make sure you are splitting them correctly.

SW say no but I no a lot of ppl that do it & it does not affect their weight loss. Best bet try 4 a wk splitting then try the next wk sticking to plan & see if there are any great differences in weight loss.

Good luck x

It says on the SW website that you can split your healthy extras if you want to :)

Q: Can I mix and match my Healthy Extras by halving the portions?

A: Yes, if you like - you’ll still lose weight beautifully! The downside is your speed and fibre symbols would have to be ignored unless your two halves had identical symbols. However, mixing and matching couldn't be done when there are multiple items in one choice, eg, 1 Weetabix and 3 Ryvita Wholegrain Crackerbread. With all single item choices, feel free!

Fab post, I didn't think this would be allowed. I normally have to choose between 2 slices from a 400g loaf or 2 hifi bars. I would be much happier with 1 of each :)
