    Newbie needing SW advice & going it alone from tomorrow

    I attended a SW class last year and didn't much like the consultant. But in actual fact, due to work patterns, I'd find it difficult to always make classes (plus it's 60 mile round trip to nearest!) ... So, from start Jan, I am thinking of going it alone. I have the book from attending once.

    any advice on not attending class? Would you recommend joining online?

    also, if you are vegetarian, am I right that you can have two HEX A and Bs?

    Hey, I started again Sunday. I did it 2 years ago and went to classes, my consultant was lovely and I did get a lot out of it but now I too am going it alone. Mainly due to time, I'd rather spend that time in the gym to be honest. Plus I know the plan well enough now and have books etc.

    My tip (which believe me I am struggling with already) is to weigh once a week like you would in a class and use forums like this one for support. And keep focused, you are only cheating yourself if you do not weigh healthy extras etc, but you know that already I am sure!

    I'm veggie and do green days only and you can have 2 hea and 2 heb (brilliant for a cheese and cereal lover like me!)

    I'm determined to stick with it this time, if I can do it so can you!

    so true that you are only cheating yourself. I need to stop the 'I will start tomorrow' mantra that goes on in my head! Tomorrow never comes!

    we have friends coming for Hogmanay so decided 2nd Jan is D-day. Going to get books out tomorrow and do some planning so I am all ready.

    do you know what you would do if you are pescatarian? Would you need to do a red day on a day you were having fish?

    I just had a look and you could do extra easy where some fishy stuff is free but you only get one A and B healthy extra but green day and red day stuff is free...

    or you can do red day and have fish as free food, you get 2 hea and 2 heb but your pasta and potatoes etc have to be either syned or use your heb's for them

    or do green and you use your heb's for fish!

    Sorry if I have confused the matter further! That was just a learning curve for me also as iv only ever followed green!

    Oh and please someone correct me if I am wrong : /

    Iv done slimming world a few times and only when I stick to it pretty much 100 % does it work. I also have been known to obsess about the amount of calories I am consuming..gotta learn to trust slimming world! A nice challenge ahead : )
