    Unsure!

    Hello all!

I started the extra easy plan on Monday & this may sound silly but it just seems too easy. There are so many foods I can eat. Can anyone recommend how many syns to allow myself? I know it says between 5 - 15 per day but how do I know how many is right for me? I want to lose 2 & a half stone. Any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks!

Trust the plan. Eat to your appetite levels and build meals and snacks around superfree. The syns thing you will have to work out. Some swear by having the full 15, many others tend to hover around the 8-10 mark. Its trial and error, as are many aspects of the plan. The basic principles are what holds it together and ensures success.

Thanks! I'm going to allow myself 10 syns a day but I've only used 5 a day so far. Can syns be saved up and used at the weekend or is this a bad idea?

Its a topic of discussion in other threads. For some it works to save syns or to conserve them after having more, basically working to a weekly total of 105. The official line is they don't roll over but we all do it at times. Its trial and error again really. What works for you might not work for someone else or may change due to personal preference. I have done weekly syns and it worked fine BUT I prefer to work daily.

Yep - it's fab when you think of all the food that you can eat in unlimited quantities / until you're satisfied. You're obviously approaching it with a great attitude, and looking at what you CAN have, rather than focussing on what you CAN'T have. You should do brilliantly.
The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues. (Elizabeth Taylor)

Thank you! I'll be so happy and surprised if I have lost any thing in the first week because it really does not feel like I'm restricted. I've 're-joined the gym so I'll be going three times a week starting next week, which will help a bit hopefully! This is so exciting!
