    SW app

Sorry if this has already been asked or is a hot topic!

I'm going to be starting again with groups and I have just downloaded the SW app. The reviews on App Store are terrible! Just wondered what you guys think of it?

    Thanks in advance :-)

    Its rubbish.

Instead open the mobile and add a link to your phones desktop. You can stay signed in and it looks and functions just like an app. Full Food diary, syns online etc etc. the added bonus is that because it's not really an app it takes up no room on your phone either. You even get a little icon for it. Why anyone uses that app I'll never know. It's just a glorified syn counter. That's the area where SW could really do with investing some membership fee profit!
I am Sam, I like it here. I think I'll hang around a bit...

Totally agree with lickthelid. It's useless. I have the mobile site as an icon too.

So glad I read this thread - the app is pants and I hadn't realised that the mobile site worked so well!

Got to back to target with SW in Feb 2009
Three summers in the USA however have started a gradual upwards trend.
I have decided to stop the creep and instead joined Slimming World Jan 2014

Thanks for this. The app drives me mad, I hate it. And that bloody pop up I keep getting winds me up even more, rate this app, good, very good, excellent.... Erm, how about PANTS?

It needs a complete overhaul. My Fitness Pal puts it to shame, you can scan the barcode of food and it tells you the calories in it, wish SW had something like that!

    I also hate the app.

Having come from weight watchers SW really could do with a better app they ww one is really good.

I dont even like the food diary online, i wish it had a section for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I use my fitness pal and keep everything on paper aswell, also use ********* to take pics of what i eat so i can keep a track on there. I have a seperate account for this dont want to bore my friends with my food pics lol x

I like the app but wish it was more like my fitnesspal, they had a scanner and that would be a much easier what to calculate syns..
