In our group, for the last two weeks, our consultant said we should write a list of reasons - for and against - for losing weight. Not much on my against list, tbh... but I saw this gem, and thought that her idea of actually WRITING THINGS DOWN could help us. Sorry for my ramble, but i like the following statistic:
People who wrote down their goals were 42% more likely to achieve them than the ones who didn't. Telling a friend increases this rate to 78%.
Now, I figure, going to class, and coming on Minimins is a win-win - we tell our virtual friends here, our hopes and dreams and goals, and in class, even if we just say what we want to lose this week - we are saying it out loud to people.
We can't lose. Well, obviously that's the whole point - but you know what I mean!!
Happy Friday!!
