GREEN DAYS ANYONE???
Hi All, well I have taken the plunge and have swapped from Cambridge and starvation to Slimming World, I have researched it for ages and never really believed that it could work, but at 52 years old and yo-yoing all my life, I have decided that I need to do something which I can stick with for life, and SW it is!!
however, I am still learning about the food combinations, hexas and hexbs etc.... but have thought that I might actually prefer the green plan, so my question is, does anyone else do green mainly and have been successful????

I've always done only green, I'm not a veggie but much prefer green days. I've lost 3.5 stone on it and looking for a further 2 xx
Hiya! I mainly do green days with an EE thrown in occasionally. I've lost 2st 5lb so far. I like green days as I like 2 hex a and hex b!
Yes I do green all the time
I do mainly green days, I'm not vegetarian, but just not that keen on meat. I've got to target & managed to stay there for 4 years
I do a mix of green and EE- I don't eat meat very regularly and sometimes need the extra Hexs!
My losses have been steady but I'm down 1st3lb in just under 4months.
I've only got about 9lb to target now so it's taking a bit longer to shift!

I've only ever done Green days and have lost over 8.5 stone. I'm not veggie, but I don't eat meat and only eat fish once in a blue moon. I love Green as I love my carbs!

Yes I'm another one that has only done the green plan.
I don't eat meat or dairy and very little fish so I appreciate the other ways to use my hexa's & hexb's.
Catfish...I'm 63 now and have spent way too many years exploring 'wonder diets'!! that weren't sustainable. Thankfully I found SW a year ago and although I (only) had 22lbs to lose, which took me 4.5 months; I have easily stayed within the target range since. I still attend group every week and that keeps me on the straight & narrow!!
I'm sure you will find it doable too.
Wow, Brilliant responses from everyone, thank you all so much, its great to hear that a good many of you are doing so well on green days, I get so confused with carbs being bad for you etc...., but clearly, it works so I will persevere and eat the things I like, which is mainly carbs and hope for the best to happen, many many thanks all, you have given me the incentive to stick to it.
