Looking for help!

Okay, I started SW on Thursday and have been sticking to the foods in the book. I weighed myself before at home prior to going to the meeting and ironically they matched up. After 2 days of sticking to it, weighed myself to make sure these potatoes and beans weren't having a negative affect and low and behold I'm 2/3 heavier!

Now I'm nervous that I'm not doing it right.. Any tips to keep on top of it?

Thanks alot!

Honestly don't weigh yourself in between classes! It can often give you a false reading as your body can change up to 2-3 pounds a day just depending on times of day etc, just stick with the plan as in the book and you'll be fine!
Make sure you're having your 1/3 superfree with every meal and you're good :)

I agree scale hopping causes so much pain, it affects your mood, I bet you're now doubting yourself, you'll be thinking you're never going to lose weight!!! Hide those scales it'll be the best thing you've done.

If you're following EE are you having suprefree with those potatoes & beans, beans are superspeed but not superfree.

You could start a diary on here that may help.;)

I had the same problem the other time I tried SW. Do the potatoes have to be weighed and the beans too? And I've been having salad with it too x

If you are following Extra Easy, then you don't need to worry about weighing out the beans and potatoes, just make sure you have the 1/3rd superfree. If you are following the red (original) plan, then you do need to, potatoes can be a healthy b choice, all weights are in the book in the pack you were given, or you have to syn them.

I'm obsessed with weighing myself and sonetimes do it most mornings. Sometimes if I have dropped, it spurs me on but like others have said if it sts or increases I think why bother then end up eating badly then it gets worse. So once a week is the best thing to do.
