Extra Easy Beetroot

Hi, I am following extra easy, can anyone tell me whether pickled beetroot in a jar is a speed food? Thanks :)

I'm utterly addicted to pickled beetroot and cucumber and get through a large jar every week :eek: I have now also discovered a love of pickled shallots.

I love pickled things too :)
 
They don't taste that "eggy" if you know what I mean, but I find they really satisfy my savoury cravings, and one egg will leave me feeling fuller longer than beetroot, picked onions, etc. Love the texture!

Yeah kinda not really eggy at all I suppose! I love anything in vinegar!
 
Make your own guys, you can choose what your pickles are flavoured with then!

Really easy to do, you can buy dried pickling spices for more traditional ones or use different things like garlic, salt and maybe ginger.

It can actually be a LOT cheaper and my home-made pickles knock the spots off store-bought ones any day, especially the onions!

Pickles are great in a salad as well, I make salads with many different coloured vegetables in them and make a lot of unconventional ones.

That sounds good... Will have a look at the spices next time I shop :) I'd like to make pickled eggs!
