I really struggle with 2 things chocolate- I literally feel like I can't go a day without chocolate!
Pizza- as a vegetarian this is my go to food when I get depressed!

If I eat limited amounts of these foods can I still lose weight? There's no way I can totally cut them out :/

Well I eat chocolate every day, and have lost 10.5 stone so far, so I guess the answer is yes, lol. Pizza I don't have as often, as obviously it's a lot more calorific, but you could maybe fit a small one in once a week or so? Good luck! :) xx

Wow chocolate everyday and a 10.5 stone weight loss?! What's your plan? Well done!!!! X

How much did you weigh before and how much do you weigh now if you don't mind me asking? I am doing calorie counting too :) x

Wow that's brill how long did it take you to lose it? Xx

That's the best way to do it though! X

If you choose the right chocolate then I'm sure you can still lose weight. :)
Things like curly wurlys, chomp bars, fudge bars, freddos, milky ways, and those little kinder milk chocolate bars are all less than 150 calories per bar, so you can enjoy chocolate in the right portion. I tend to avoid buying big bars of things like galaxy and dairy milk because they're usually about 40 calories just for one square and it's hard to stop after just 4 squares.

You could maybe try making your own pizza? With things like low fat cheese, chopped tomatoes, mushrooms and peppers. :)

Great idea with the pizza toujours thanks :D I'm deffo going to try that out x

It's always good to hear that we can continue eating chocolate, in moderation, and see the results we so desperately want!

I have always lost weight eating chocolate, but of course you just have to limit it to a certain amount. I am currently eating 85% Green and Blacks and I have about 6 squares a day. I love it. The sugar content is much lower so its not as addictive.

I too have chocolate almost everday and loose weight consistently! Wispa/diam and flakes are my favourites lately.
Regarding pizza I have often made them using a pitta for a base or even smash and the topped with what I fancy and low fat cheese. Its not identical but hits the spot for me :)
Another similar recipe is pizza topped chicken where you cook a chicken breast then top with tom purree/ veg and cheese and pop back in oven. Really tasty!

Brill thanks for the ideas RB x

RawrGirl is pizza addict -- infact, pizza is EXACTLY the reason why RawrGirl finds herself heavy again. But now, she has started making her own on whole wheat flat bread. They actually come out pretty well, the only thing is the serving size -- the Flat Breads are probably about 7 inches in diameter. RawrGirl used to eat half a large pizza with Prince Charming every weekend night, so it's hard to get used to a smaller pizza. But it is yummy, and does tend to satisfy the craving.

As for Chocolate, RawrGirl buys Chocoperfection European Milk Chocolate Bars. They are normal size bar, 190 calories. 2 grams of sugar. Not as sweet as milk chocolate (its sweetened with a naturally sweet fiber that has no effect on blood sugar), more like semi-sweet.

Hey, I am also a chocolate addict! How have you been getting on? I'm starting afresh again today slim fast/calorie counting and I know I won't be able to give up choc, carbs I can cut out easy and not crave but chocolate is hard!!

I lost 34 pounds and kept it off for quite awhile, then I have gained 10 pounds and am having a heck of a time getting back to where I was.. I was thinking of going on Dukan Diet Coaching, and they feel my weight should be where it is now, which is not right. If I could stay at goal for 4 years, that had to be my correct weight, so I am really struggling.
My downfall is cravings, especially at night.

Hello there! My answer to you is ofcourse you can! How do i know? I manage to do just that! As long as most of your foods during the day are rich with nutrients, or as long as you lrt yourself eat it just once in a while, you can totally do it. You need to try and find your own ballance with that. But its totally possible. Truat me, I know. About the pizza..you can make a vegeterian pizza..:) even a vegan one if you find the right recipe. And it can be very delicious. Goodluck (;

Yep, I'm now up to a loss of 164lbs and still eat chocolate every day, lol. :) xx
