I have my mum and sister coming for dinner on the Tuesday bank holiday and I want to make some cake pops. I've found a low syn recipe to make the cake with but I need something low syn to coat them with so I can decorate them. I need to be able to colour it so i thought white choc. Does anyone know a low syn white choc preferably cheap. I don't think i need to use a lot so if someone could tell me the amount of syns for the size of the bar (I.e. 46g 10syns) that way I can weigh how much I use. Failing that does anyone know the syn values of candy melts?
Thanks in advance

What's a cake pop lol?

You're not going to find a low syn chocolate I'm afraid - a 25g milky bar is 7 syns but 1 syn for every 20 calories will give you any brand

Sorry don't know what candy melts are either.

If I knew what a cake pop was I migt be able to suggest an alternative though :)

You could make a chocolate spread for it out of quark which is nice it's as follows-

2 tablespoons quark
1/2 teaspoon coco powder
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp sweetener

= 1/2 syn for the coco powder

Not sure if that will be enough but you can double of triple up the measurements to make more.

Also makes a lovely dipping cream for strawberries
