Thread: chinese curry sauce syns plesse

Hi everyone,

Im dying for curry from the chinese and cannot for the life of me find how many syns are in an average tub from the Chinese. Does anyone know and if not can you help me figure out how many syns I should use.

Back - curry sauce from a chip shop is 6syns so maybe count it as 8 to be safe? If ya haven't had any syns today I'd go for boiled rice (free) and either just curry sauce or a chicken curry - enjoy it

There's a really nice curry sauce that tastes just like one from the Chinese that you can buy from Farmfoods, I think it's called Mayflower. Last I remember it was something like 13 syns for the whole tub and you only need to use maybe a quarter per serving x

^really cheap too accordin to their web site a lot of caterers actually use it so your takeaway may use it extra syns will come from oil for maybe cookin onion in?

Thanks guys i got a chicken curry after and had fried rice as i had no syns at all, i asked for a diced chicken breast, onions and mushrooms which was boiled and asked for the sauce seperate(really small tub). It was yummy

oh and i counted 10syns for the whole lot as i didnt have a full portion on fried rice

Wow don't think my Chinese would do that but then again I've never asked lol pleased ya enjoyed it that's why slimming world rocks there's nothing u can't have :-)

Mayflower curry sauce is delicious is exactly like Chinese curry sauce 4 syns per 100ml and that's quite thick. I put mushrooms, diced onions large and peas just like my take away does. If I have peppers or anything else I put them in to to try and get my 1/3 for extra easy. With slimming world chips its one of my faves for a Friday or Saturday.

Forgot to mention its a powder you just add water to and put in the microwave.

yeah i use this stuff too. You get it in different heat levels too which is good to suit different tastes! went for the extra hot but think ill be going one below next time lol

Can you only get it from farm foods? Xx
